Burzum is black metal... >_>

in my opinion, it's Behemoth. Nergal goes on ******** quests across the entire world with nothing buy money, a change of clothes, a pen, and paper, and just studies various cultures and will actually follow cults and watch their practices, gaining insight and lyrical influence from things like that.

he's ******** AMAZING.

I'd say the deepest thing I've heard from a Death Metal band was the opening to Kataklysm's "Serenity In Fire" album.

"This is the life we chose, the life we lead... And there is only one guarantee... None of us will see Heaven."

I've always like the way that was delivered, and I've felt that way before, so I guess thats why I like it so much.

That whole album is damned good too.

You don't like Melodies I guess? xp Kataklysm is pretty amazing in my opinion, better than Behemot, although Behemot can be pretty cool if In the mood for it. smile And Personally, out of what I've heard, Satyricon's 'Dark Medieval Times' is the darkest I've got(not that I've heard much), and a pretty damn amazing album as well, too bad I prefer Anorexia Nervosa's 'New Obscurantis Order' ... but this is about Death Metal bands so, Behemot gets my vote as well... xp

nah, i think the melodies are great... but the vocals irritate me >_< idk why. i like them, just not a huge fan razz what i love about behemoth, is the beauty of the music. it's glorious, epic, empowering, and, at the same time, absolutely terrifying. Demigod = beyond words.
