I read on Green Day Authority that Jason White is now an official member of the band! What do you think?

little pink cloud I read on Green Day Authority that Jason White is now an official member of the band! What do you think? I think he deserves it, he has been playing with the band for awhile now...I would hate it if I did something like that and was not reconised. GO JASON

Jason's a cool guy. At the Green Day concert I went to on the 20th, he was there, doing his thing for the entire time. He reminds me of Tré, in personality and looks lol . I swear he looked so much like him at the concert. He was also wearing a cowboy shirt! What an awsome guy!

i think it will take me a while to get used to, green day was a trio for such a long time... xp hope poeple don't go crazy over that, but yay for jason!

I'm on the fence here. He doesn't help write the music or anything, but on the other hand he plays more guitar than Billie does at shows. I wouldn't care either way, but if he's in, congrats. ^_^

He said he never wanted to be an official member, didn't he?
I dunno, like Alien said, he DOES play a lot more guitar than Billie.
Billie spends more time spraying water guns and playing with himself than he does playing guitar. xd
Even still though, I'm jealous of Jason.

i dunno, i guess i sorta liked them as a trio, and they've been that way forever, but jason is REALLY good at the guitar so, i just dunno.

I would much prefer them to stay a trio. Not that Jason isn't cool, he's great! But still I would miss them being a trio. crying

Hes just an extra guitar player. I only read that he is not a member yet. I saw them in concert and all that and Billie introduced saying "Jason White over here!!" Or something like that. it would be cool if he was part of the trio. He does look like Tre' in ways.

As long as they keep up the great work and the awesomness. I don't mind if Jason joins the band as OFFICIAL. It may change a lot but I think it'll work out.
