Months spent away from other wolves had changed Razzy. Whether it was for the better or for the worse was debatable. However, it wasn't something the adult wolf liked to spend time dwelling on.

Her life had been reduced to something small and insignificant. She spent the majority of her time sleeping under trees that resembled the birthmark on her forehead and hunting and then eating anything she could get her jaws on.

Razzy liked it like that.

The wolf yawned lazily and continued to follow the muddy path she'd happened upon. It had rained the night before and everywhere she looked there was a collection of mud or puddle of water. The wonderful, sweet smell of a forest after a heavy rain played under her nose.

She was covered in mud from head to foot; some dry and some not so dry.

It didn't matter. It wasn't like she was trying to impress or intimidate anybody.

(I have not roleplayed him joining his pack yes, so he's kind of a rogue.)

The dusty black wolf yawned quietly to himself as he walked along a dull, lame, plain old boring path. The mud had completey covered his body, save his face, he appeared to be a moving golem out on the prowl. His current life consisted of pretty much nothing, go here one day go there the next. He had really no substance to his life.

What's that? He narrowed his eyes towards another walking golem and queitly slinked into the bushes. I'll have some fun! He thought.
As the other wolf walked passed him he jumped out behind her, "BOO!"

maybe some excitment would follow?

She hadn't been expecting any type of encounter with any type of organism whatsoever. Particularly in the state she was in.

Being dirty was alright as long as there was nobody around.

Rasine gasped in surprise and spun around when the unfamilar wolf -at least, she thought it was a wolf. It was difficult to tell under all that mud- jumped out behind her. She took a step backwards which turned out to be a rather horrible idea. Razzy had always been particularly clumsy and the mud didn't do a helluva lot to help.

The adult wolf slipped and landed on her chin.

"Ow," she groaned weakly.

Trouble let out a deep laugh that seemed to rise from his toes as he looked at her, and as she fell his face changed from one that was excited to have pulled a prank to a one that was terrified.

"Miss, miss, are you okay?" his voice was soft and comforting. Jokes were funny, but not if someone was hurt.

If it was possible to see through all of the mud and fur you could see that Trouble was blushing, he did not know what to do in such a sitution, his child like antics had never gotten anyone hurt before. He laid down in the mud his nose inches from her, "Need help?"

He was not shy or bashful in fact he was quite the opposite. He didn't mind talking to a complete stranger. Hurting one how ever was not on his top list of things to do. It was a comforting feeling to feel her breath angainst his face, at least it meant she wasn't dead.

He was too close. His mud was too close to her mud.

"I'm fine," she said gruffly and rose as swiftly as she could on shaking legs, to prove to him that her statement was true. Her paws slid around in the mud once more before she managed to firmly plant herself into it.

"You look horrible," she told him as a matter-of-factly, refering to his state of dirtiness. Her eyes smiled at him, letting him know that she wasn't really upset with him.

Razzy had always been blunt. She never said anything she didn't mean. It had gotten her into more than her fair share of trouble. Though, she never meant any harm.

A wide grin spread across his face and he got to his feet quickly, he had a firm grasp on himself physically. The mud was just another part of his current life. Before wandering he had lived with his mother and she took care of him, when she passed he was terrified and thus had to escape his current surroundings. His only way to deal with death was to joke, and that stood out as a trait in his personality.

"Sorry again," he noted her eyes and the warmth in his face deepened, " I am Trouble, what's your name?"

Trouble was right! Where ever her was there was going to be some lame stunt or a practical joke!

He couldn't be serious. Razzy stared at Trouble in surprise, jaw hanging open.

That was his name?

"It suits you," she told him, using the same tone she'd used before, "I'm Rasine."

She wasn't sure that she wanted him to know her nickname yet for that was something she'd reserved for the use of her good friends and siblings.

She blinked.

Well, alright, her siblings.Friends were kind of hard to come by in these parts.

"My brothers and sister call me Razzy, though," she announced eagerly, "I suppose... you could too. That is, if you wanted."

Trouble noted the skeptical look from the female, Razzy huh? That's a cute name. He rolled his eyes. He wasn't used to playing tricks on girls, especially ones that bare their souls on the first meeting. A small snicker escaped him.

"Sooo... what brings you to my neck of the woods, Raz?" He ignored her given names mischeviously, thinking of the posibilities of her getting extremely mad.

He flopped down in the mud and gave her an intent stare, he was not going to stop his fun for her, even if he did look horrible. He licked the mud in his fur, it cooled him and on a humid fall day what else would hit the spot? His pelt could come clean easily and would reveal a dusty black and blue color hightlighted by small silver and grey circles.

((My father's sent my computer away to fix the video driver. So, my net acess is limited. I'll take care of things when I can and I won't be gone for long. <3 *pings luff*))

The pleasant twist to her nickname hardly made her angry. Instead, it surprized her.

"I'm just passing through," Razzy said casually with a slightly self-concious flick of her tail. She was very aware of the amount of mud that surrounded her body like a second coat and, therefore, was slightly nervous.

It didn't hurt to look good when faced with an unfamiliar face. It didn't matter that he was just as dirty as she.

"This is your neck of the woods?" she asked slowly, looking around them with slight interest.

((I'm back. ^^))

"For now it's mine, well I cannot say I call ownership, just passing through for a few days," his eyes glittered with excitement, he wanted to strip the layers of brown mud and show off his pelt, he was not always about impressing the girl, "There's a stream near by if you'd like to clean up, I know I would!"

It was chilly the Fall was going slowly and the air was much more brisk than the warm summer air of jut a few weeks ago. The water would still hold the warmth of summer, to a degree, but he knew there would be no problems with that, if anything he could trick her into cuddling up with him. There was heat in Trouble's face, something he rarely felt.

"Follow me?" without an answer he started off the path and into the woods.

She snorted, amused by his not-really-there-claim to the forest they stood in and pretended not to notice the gorgeous color of his fur.

Mud really doesn't suit him, she thought.

The prospect of a bath was a delightful one but, for some reason, she was a tad self-consious about cleaning off. It was strange. Usually, Razzy would be adamant about removing the mud from her fur before she even considered talking to another wolf. This time, however, she thought she'd prefer it if they both remained dirty.

Was she worried that he wouldn't be as impressed with her as she was with him?

Perhaps she was concerned that, underneath all of that mud, he was better looking than she was.

Haha. Whatever.

Razzy laughed out loud at that and then, deciding that she was being silly, followed close behind him. After all, there was no wolf prettier than her.

The dusty wolf had a stocky build, and it was evident that he was long out of his adolescent years, but he felt like a puppy. His tail wagged enthusiastically as he trampled over leaves and branches. He expected snow, this early in the year? Yes, he expected snow, the wet and the cold and gotten through his fur to his bare skin.

"Do you have a family?" he wondered allowed, "I mean.. it's just well... I have this little guy that usually follows me, he calls me Uncle Trouble," he smiled looking back at her, as he did this his mind focused on her and not his feet, sending him head first into a mound of decomposing leaves.

"sim'all-ri," he murmered, an 'I'm alright' through a mouth full of leaves.

"My brothers and one sister," she told him quietly, having been a bit touchy on the subject of her family since her entire pack had been wiped out by two-leggeds. Rasine sighed. That had been so long ago.

There had been a time when she'd thought she was the only survivor. Then, she'd stumbled across Kamali, her brother, and discovered that all of her siblings had survived.

She still had yet to meet the other two.

"Uncle Trouble?" Razzy smiled at his back, "That's adorable-

The female wolf watched with wide-eyes as Trouble tumbled and she hurried upwards in order to see if he was alright. Really, the situation was quite amusing but she held her laughter in check for fear of hurting his feelings.

He was clumsier than she was!

"Go ahead laugh," he smirked looking up at her, he could sense the apprehention in her voice and did not mean for her discomfort, "laughter makes everything better, 'sides I'm pretty clumsy," he said clearly and then spit out a few leaves.

"My mother died infront of me," he said softly as he stood up, "You learn to deal with death, it happens, you push through it. That's why I laugh." he had never told anyone that, never told them about his mother like that... she died because of him, he knew it. She was so weak from his conception as well as his birth, it was a matter of time.
