I was at my friends house(drummer) the other day and he told his brother had a glass slide. So he found it for me and I used it on my bass. I used at as a little slap tool. I put it on my thumb and slapped the bass a little(barely any pressure). And it gave that slap sound. It was cool. What do you guys think?

Well, while I have never heard of that being done on thumbs, there are things called "Funk Fingers" which as fas I can tell are small wooden tubes you can place over your fingers to give yourself a really funky, slap tone.

Instrumental Aahz Well, while I have never heard of that being done on thumbs, there are things called "Funk Fingers" which as fas I can tell are small wooden tubes you can place over your fingers to give yourself a really funky, slap tone. Is there a place where I can get these? Or at least something similar? No clue, ask at your local music store or google funk fingers. They talked about them in Bass Guitar which is how I know about them.
