Basically, this said that on 9/29 the first issue [ch. 0] was released. This manga will be based off the new anime and is also drawn by a different manga-ka, but generally it's still Negima. It will be released monthly in Comic Bonbon, which is generally aimed towards younger audiences.

I've already looked through the raw of chapter 0, which is about what happened the day before Negi recieved his assignment as a teacher in Japan [his graduation day]. This is quite interesting as it is sort of a prequal to Negima, so whoever wondered about that, you're in luck [especially you Anya fans out there].

The manga-ka for this version is Fujima Takuya [website - may contain NWS content], who is usually is a doujin artist. This strikes me as ironic since this version of Negima is supposedly geared towards younger audiences, but I guess Negima still retains some of it's ecchi feel that way. The art is definately in moe style. I still prefer Akamatsu's clean lineart, but don't let that stop you from diving in.

Negi was a pervert since young..xD I bet Anya wanted to see him fully undress though seeing as it looks like she likes him. But I wish I knew what they said though... crying

I see why fans are getting bored of Negima........because of the numerous re-hashes.

I'm fine with Del Rey's releases but new version of Negima manga and a remake of the Negima TV that still has fans asking questions?

I'm with ya'll i guess. There is tons of other anime and manga that need the royal treatmeant while Negima is taking it's sweet time making it's mind up.

Wow, I didn't know there was a new manga out! I think I agree, I still like Ken's clean line art better. 3nodding But it will be interesting to see the manga if they bring it to the U.S. 3nodding

I'll just have to wait and see if Tanoshimi gets a hold of this for the UK... I'll read it...

Ive been pictures of it posted and it looks exactly the same graphic style as the original which is good... as long as this new guy doesnt get any ideas over his station...
