Well, it's just about one of the obvious pairings I haven't seen in this place. Not that it's obvious, but I mean, you have these two great characters just about the same age and no one has thought about pairing them up. At least, I haven't seen this pairing. Sooo, here it goes.
*What do you think about them?
*Would it work? (Give me a reason why, please)
*Would it not work? (Reason why.)
Could it possibly work should they grow up?
I can see why the pairing isn't so popular when people are more intereseted in Katara and Aang, but these are the youngest characters and I would see more of a connection between the two of them considering that they both, or at least I think both, seem to have feelings for these older characters again, possibly Katara and Sokka.
Whow, I have another pairing in mind, Smellerbee and Aang >_>

I think that they are more like brother and sister. They have never really showed that kind of affection for eachother. Also, I think Toph likes Sokka and I KNOW that Aang likes-no wait, loves Katara. And well, just because they are the same age doesnt mean they are perfect for eachother. And trust me, a LOT of people have paired them together, you just haven't seen it.

Also, I think Toph likes Sokka and I KNOW that Aang likes-no wait, loves Katara. And well, just because they are the same age doesnt mean they are perfect for eachother. Actually, Zuko & Katara have never had the pleasure of having a civil conversation with one another or actually had the chance to get to know one another. (Not that they would divulge their private lives... but I think they could respect one another if they actually worked & lived with one antoher). But the idea of how cute it would be, imagining how it would happen, is the fun & cute part.

I don't mind Aang/Toph, but I like Toph/Zuko better. While I believe that both differences and similarities are what make a relationship work, Aang and Toph are just... too different. Toph is more like "Pfft, whatever, as long as I'm safe, I'm good." while Aang is more like "Ack! I have to go save everyone!" Aang is just way too caring, while Toph is just too NOT caring. Which is why she belongs with either Sokka or Zuko. mrgreen

It could work. Right now, I think that if they actually talked more to each other, then that would be a start in the right direction. I haven't seen Toph actually have a laid-back conversation with him after the first time they met...

Well, you never know with Avatar. The creators usually come up with surprises.

Sure. They would both will be older a wiser and more understanding of each other, if they aren't right now.^^

*Would it work? (Give me a reason why, please) Yes, probably when they're a bit older. Right now Aang and Toph are both a bit young to be seriously worrying about relationships.
*Would it not work? (Reason why.) Well, Aang likes Katara and Toph likes Sokka. xD Those are both childish crushes though; I am hoping they will get over it soon. (yes, I saw the new episodes and Katara and Aang kissing, but whatever...the season is still young)
Could it possibly work should they grow up? YES!! I am almost positive it will work eventually. Or soon.
