I'm going to A-Kon as Gaara, and I was wondering 5 things:
-How the hell can I make that gourd?
-Are you going? If so, are you cosplaying?
-If cosplaying, are you going as a Naruto character?
-If you are going as a Naruto character, would you mind doing a group photo with me?
-If cosplaying as a Naruto character, who?
ADDITIONAL NOTE: PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU ARE GOING AS KANKURO OR TEMARI.

make the gourd out of.... duuh..... OH! paper mache' or... balls with fabric around them x3
OR! if you have lots of money you could search ebay for one of those bookbags shaped like it x3 and if you have the time to wait for it to ship!

i just searched 'gaara bag' on ebay and got lots of choices ^_^ ranging from $8 to about $15 not including shipping.... the $15 ones are nicer heart

Matuska i just searched 'gaara bag' on ebay and got lots of choices ^_^ ranging from $8 to about $15 not including shipping.... the $15 ones are nicer heart

Tee hee .. yeah most people use the bags. BUT THERE'S NO TIME ... So, I would like to say its hopeless - it would be in my case because last time I tried to make Gaara's gourd it came out awfully strange ... >O<
I'm not going to A-Kon, but I'm going to Otakon as Hinata ...
@angelfeather: Aren't you going to Otakon, too? >w< Nobody in my group is going as a Naruto chara ... you cosplaying?

Well.if you're goin.. .and... if you see a boy with his lips drawn like they'e sewn together, and gaara-like eyemakeup, dark blonde hair, a white dress shirt with a sign on his back that says "MOLESTABLE UKE ^o^" That's me..... ((Sunday I'll be CSing as Zell))
Why? Because I make a hot guy... O_o;;
