Aptly titled "Stump NekoKatsun," the object of this contest is to ask an FFVI question that NekoKatsun--that's me--is unable to answer. If you manage to do so, you will get a prize! For my part, I swear to answer these questions using only my formidable knowledge of the game. I will not play the game before answering, nor will I visit any sort of web site to search for the answer. It's my brain against all comers!

This contest will run indefinitely, or until I feel like shutting it down, or until nobody asks anything for a good long time. Enter as often as you want! Nearly anything's fair game!

RULES:
1. I am a bit of a spelling/grammar nazi, so please, make your questions legible and comprehensible. No l33tspeak, please!

2. I reserve the right to ask for clarification if what you are asking is unclear in any way.

3. Since I swear not to use outside help, please do not ask questions that are impossible to answer without outside help; for example, things such as "how much exp does it take to get from lvl 24 to lvl 27?" or "how much hp does a Pug have?" or "how tall is Shadow?"

4. This is important--you must know the answer to the question you ask. If you don't, you can't win on it.

5. Do your best!

6. The question must be canon. Fanon is open to interpretation and therefore has no wrong answer.

7. Be specific. Otherwise I may give an answer that is not the one you were looking for but is correct nonetheless.

8. When I am stumped, I will say so. Generally I'll allow myself three chances before I admit defeat, as I don't lose easily.

PRIZES:
Now the fun stuff. If you manage to stump me, you will receive either 500 gold OR one colored chibi picture of whomever you want (including but not limited to your avi, FFVI characters, and random people).
IF SOMEONE MANAGES TO STUMP ME THREE TIMES--that's three total, not necessarily three in a row--you will recieve 1000 gold AND a full-body colored pic of whomever you choose!

PREVIOUSLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
One person in Zozo tells the truth, who is it?
Who is Relm's brother?
How many behemoths are within the game?
Give the American release names of the 8 dragons you have to fight in the WoR to get Crusader.
How many different actual pieces of Magicite do you specifically buy or find/pick up in the game to recieve the 27 different summons?
In the SNES version, these three enemies can not be in your Rage list, what are they?
Which character can not uncurse the Cursed Shield?

PEOPLE WHO HAVE STUMPED ME:
Nobody yet... ^^

Now this is a game I can get behind.

Well, let's start this off somewhat simple, shall we?

One person in Zozo tells the truth, who is it?

I'll take a stab at this.

Who is Relm's brother?

Ramuh. xd Hey, he's in Zozo, and he sure tells the truth, doesn't he?

Others include the ghost that tells you about Magicite, the drunk guy who says "Great people, here!", the guy who tells you that everyone in Zozo lies, the guy who tells you about the rusted door, and (towards the end of the game) Cyan (who is technically speaking on Mt. Zozo as opposed to IN Zozo, but it's close enough).

Teran--It's never explicitly stated, so this is more fanon than canon, but one can logically assume that Relm's brother is Clyde. You know, Shadow. He's her only living relative and the character that the second Memento Ring is meant for.

UPDATE:

I'm adjusting the rules a wee bit, since I've thought of some things that I hadn't before. The new rules are:

Maybe I should have been specific, but you did guess him, which is the guy that tells you about the rust rid.

I go by the guy that tells you 'you know that guy who tells you jumping between buildings is dangerous?' [who is also the rust rid guy] (I believe he's in Tzen in the WoR, but don't quote me on that)

So, for another shot:

How many behemoths are within the game?

Alright. Took me awhile to think of a question that wasn't too easy in my mind. Heres the question. exclaim Give the American relases names of the 8 dragons you have to fight in the World of Ruin to get Crusader.

How many different actual pieces of Magicite do you specifically buy or find/pick up in the game to receive the 27 different summons?

Whew! Sorry that took a bit; classes ate me, and I had to give the dragons some thought. ^^

How many behemoths are within the game? Hurrah for the first trick question! They're a random encounter, there's no set number to how many there are. However, there are event battle with specific behemoths--SrBehemoth, to be exact. And you fight him twice, although you don't have to, because if you Vanish/Doom him he never returns as a zombie. You can also fight GtBehemoths, too.

Give the American release names of the 8 dragons you have to fight in the WoR to get Crusader. This one took the longest, since I kept blanking on the last one. ^^ Not in any particular order, they are the Dirt, Red, Blue, White, Yellow, Ice, Storm, and Skull Drgns. The Dirt Drgn is my favorite. heart

How many different actual pieces of Magicite do you specifically buy or find/pick up in the game to recieve the 27 different summons? 26. Because Odin changes into Raiden. Oddly enough, they take up seperate slots, leading one to believe that in the original programming you could have both at once, but no.

Is that the best you've all got? biggrin This is fun!

UPDATE!

I've put a list of previously asked questions in the first post. On the off-chance that someone stumps me, I'll add a list of who they were and what question they got me on.

I'd also like to add that this is an absolute blast--I'm having so much fun! You guys are pretty good! biggrin

In the SNES version, these three enemies can not be in your Rage list, what are they?

(Also, for my previous question, I just wanted how many types their were, [my mistake on that one, but it was answered])

CLARIFICATION!

Please be more precise on what you mean by 'enemies.' For example, bosses technically count as enemies, however they cannot be encountered on the Veldt. I'm fairly sure I know what you mean, and I think I've got the first two, but I want clarification to be absolutely sure. ^^

One is a boss, two are enemies. I have never seen said boss on the veldt, but it is possible to have it in the list. I hope that helps.

This reeeally isn't meant to be twenty questions, but for further clarification's sake, are any of the three event battles? And by saying two are enemies, do you mean that you can encounter them in the field as random encounters? Finally, can these enemies be encountered in the coliseum?

I'm 98% sure that I've got the right answers, but they're raising unrelated questions that I want to track down. Oddly, I seem to be coming up with more than three enemies that are not Rage-able, which is why I've been asking for clarifications.

Ok, two are event battles, one is a random battle.

And as far as I know, oine is encountered in the coliseum, I highly doubt the other two are in there.

(sorry for the 20 questions)
