D= Why isn't there a Pagan's Mind thread?! These Norweigans deserve your attention. They're great musicians and their cover of King Diamond's At the Graves is amazing!
If you haven't heard them, download the whole Infinity Divine album. And some songs off the other two.

Holy s**t dude, I *just* bought 'Enigmatic: Calling' when I see this thread languishing. I think it's the greatest crime of the popularisation of certain bands and the metal genre that great bands like this go unnoticed. Pagan's Mind are an almost perfect blend of prog and power, with a space age sound that emphasises both some pretty harsh riffing with awesome melodies (I *love* their sound...). But yeah, Shade, if you say their other albums are as good as Enigmatic: Calling, I'll have to pick them up too.

Thorstein Abbey left after Celestial Entrance. ;__; So only Jorn Plays guitars are Enigmatic: Calling. But still, all their albums pwn.

Bwah! My copy of 'Enigmatic: Calling' is supposed to have a video clip for the song Enigmatic Mission, but there's no such clip on there! I've looked through it, tried opening it with all manner of players, but nothing, just the songs. I managed to find some of their video clips on youtube, and man, they're pretty crap. xd I guess it's hard for lesser known bands to get the funds to pull together a decent video clip, though, and the music more than makes up for it.
Also requesting to know what Leeoden is smoking...

I didn't know them before but since all of you were talking about them that excitedly I went to their myspace and listened to the songs provided there... and I have to say: "Wow!" Sounds odd but this is what describes my first impression of them best. The first thing my boyfreind said was "Who's this and where can I buy a record of them?". Now he has already ordered Enigmatic: Calling and Infinity Divine smile

I've seen Pagan's Mind live two times and both times they were quite awesome. I have all three of their albums and so far I must say Celestial Entrance is the one I most like.
Infinity Divine sounds a little like the band is still looking for their thing - plus the production isn't as great as the bands sound would require. Of course, I'm talking about the original album and haven't heard the remake of it (there isa remake, right?)
Enigmatic: Calling is a good album but I think it resembles Celestial Entrance a bit too much. You could put those albums right next to each other, play, and never notice where the album changed. While of course it's nice that a band is keeping to their own thing, some growth and change is what I always look for in a band.
All and all, however, a great band and one of my favourites. whee
