Chuakari was out for a walk, gaining more and more confidence about where she went as time passed. She still walked with a limp, but she felt it was healing well. Especially in comparison to Hasidi's wounds, but that was mainly because he'd been hurt much worse than she had been. She was wandering back towards the Pridelands, nearer and nearer where she'd been attacked. When she started to recognize some of the land as where she'd met Kia, she slowed down and took her time.
She didn't realize this was where she'd end up. The small cheetah perked her ears and looked around, making a point of trying to be alert.

Isi blinked in the sudden, bright light as she woke up. What? Where was she? Oh yeah. That Pridelands place. Yeaaah. Going to see that Mufusa or Muffas guy or whatever. And join the pride! Yup. Now she remembered. Yawning, she shuffled to her paws, and looked around. Where was she again? The lioness quickly forgot that question as she spotted a butterfly. "Ooh!" Isi smiled in delight, and trotted after the delicate green butterfly as it fluttered this way and that.
Her tail flicked as the small green bug floated on the wind, which was carrying it's fragile body towards the border. Grinning, she bounded after it, her adult paws moving in child like ways.

For once, paying attention paid off for the cheetah. Her ears turned in the direction of the sound of playful paw-steps, and were followed cautiously by her eyes. Something dark and purple was heading in almost a diagonal direction by her.
She couldn't see the bug, but she could tell from the way the lioness was running that she was being rather playful. Kari carefully took a seat, reluctant to interupt another's fun, and chose instead to watch.

Isi galumpfed after the butterfly, her eyes set on it's glittering green wings. Where was it going? Why? When? How? Her teeth were bared in a grin, and her paws fell lightly against the earth in a comfortable rythm. The fragile insect floated high above her head, wings fluttering lazily.
"Come back!" Isi called out to the butterfly. She hadn't played with it yet! With a dejected sigh, the lioness sat down, quietly watching it float higher and higher and higher.

When the lioness' gaze turned upward, the cheetah's followed. There was something glimmering above her head, and it looked like whatever it was had made the lioness much less cheerful. Kari frowned and got back to her feet. Perhaps she could cheer her up, or something?
She walked over, doing her best to walk without a limp.
"Hello," she said brightly, smiling and hoping she would not be unwelcome.

Isi blinked, and looked at the feline curiously. What a queer lioness! But still, she was pretty, and nice, it seemed. "Hi!" The darkly colored lioness said, forgetting the small green butterfly. With a grin, she tumbled over to the skinny lion.
"I'm Isi! Short for Isipho!" She grinned wider, skidding to a stop infront of her, and abruptly sitting down. "Why don't you have a tail tuft?" Isi blurted, and motioned to the cheetah's thick tail.

Chuakari immediately gained a pleasant expression when the lioness forgot about the butterfly and greeted her with much kindness. So far so good! She even dared to giggle as the lioness tumbled on over to her.
"It's nice to meet you Isi! I'm Kari, which is short for Chuakari," she replied politely, and then glanced to where Isi motioned. Her grin widened a bit, "I'm a cheetah, cheetahs don't have nice tufty tails like lions."

Isipho's light, slim body wiggled happily, as excited thoughts ran through her head.. if slowly. Perking her ears forward as far as they could go, she tried to listen to every single syllable of the cat's words. Company was great! Company was cool! Company kept her company! Wait.. what?
"Wus a cheet-uh?" Her head quirked to one side, not really beleiving the possibilty of any other type of large animal besides lions. Wait.. something Hasi had said. What had he said?

"Cheetahs are.. um.. like me! Only they usually have spots," she added the last part as something of an after though, Kari was well aware that she did not look like a typical cheetah, "Kind of like lions but smaller and not so fuzzy.."
It was a poor explanation, and she knew it- but at least a lioness could probably relate to such an explanation. She was a lion after all. Kari smiled hopefully at Isi.

"Oh!" Isi cried out, suddenly remembering what a cheetah was. "Hasidi told me about you cheetuhs. You guys run really fast, right?" Her grin was hopeful and large. Maybe Kari would play tag with her!
"I've never met a cheetah before." The lioness nodded happily. Where was she? Oh yeah.. company. Wait.. No. Hmm. "It's too bad you don't have a tufty.." She said, sadly, feeling for the poor little cheetah. Isi wouldn't be able to live without her little purple friend.

"You know Hasidi?" Kari squeaked suddenly, as soon as Isi said he'd told her about cheetahs. Her own grin widened and she nodded enthusiastically in response to the question. Speed was something cheetahs were known for, and she knew it.
"I've met lots of lions," Kari replied brightly, "Probably more than I've met cheetahs, and I'm in the coalition near here." Her tail swayed behind her, and she turned to look at it- it wasn't something she really worried about, not having the tuft of fur at the end of her tail. She blinked and looked back to Isi.

Isi nodded happily. "You know him too?" She asked, happy to find someone that knew the red lion. "He was all bloody when I saw him and stuff.." Her smiled turned upside down at the memory.
Isi grinned. "How fast can you guys run? I can run sortof fast, I think." The lioness's chest puffed out in pride, because she could run fairly fast, nowhere near most other animal's speed. "Whas a coalition?" Isi's eyes widened with confusion.

"Know him? I- I- yes, I know him," Kari puffed up a bit, obviously quite happy about the fact she knows him. She was still hesitant to say more though, unless it was to Hasidi himself. The cheetah frowned at the mention of Hasidi being all bloody, nodding slowly, "I must have found him after you did, he's stayed with me since he was hurt I think.. He's getting a lot better.."
She trailed off, and remained quiet until Isi continued her questioning.
"I think we can run pretty fast, but I can't right now," she nodded, "I hurt my leg, but it's a lot better. And a coalition is a group of cheetahs that live together."

Isi blinked blearily, a bit tired from the day's traveling. "He's all.. red and white." Yeeah. He was, wasn't he? It seemed so long ago.. The lioness blinked and looked up at Kari again. What had she just said? She hadn't been paying attention. Isi nodded slightly, hoping that she hadn't just nodded to something bad.
"Oh.. I'm sorry 'bout your leg." Dang, there just went her hopes of a game of tag. "A group of cheetahs? Wow.." Coalitions.. they must play incredible games of tag! "I'm going to join a coalition.. or a pride. Thats why I'm here. I think."

"Um, kind of," Kari murmured quietly, wondering if she was really thinking of the same Hasidi- maybe there was someone else named Hasidi. It didn't seem to matter, there was a strange look on Isi's face that seemed almost lost or confused. The cheetah gave her a smile, but didn't say anything right away about her comments on joining a Pride or Coalition.
The 'I think' made it seem like she was a little.. absent minded, maybe? It was kind of odd, Kari thought.
"W-what pride do you want to join?" she asked cautiously.
