I've been working on this couples commission for a while now - you may recall an earlier version . I hated it, and started over.  UPDATE Let's say, I color this image like And I frame it digitally with the title "HIGH TIDE", do you think this could make it in the Art Arena?

I like this version much better.
I know about the questionable circumstances, and it is possible that you won't be paid but... I think that now more than ever, the GD needs this picture.
Plus it's looking really good.

Dr. Valentine I like this version much better. I know about the questionable circumstances, and it is possible that you won't be paid but... I think that now more than ever, the GD needs this picture. Plus it's looking really good. Hahahaha, needs? I'm glad you think it's good. It was just kind of... a punch in the stomach, all that s**t. I don't know if I'll take any more couples commissions after this.

Still, getting them to look at each other or anything like that is going to present a real challenge.

Also, on-topic, I think it'd have a pretty good chance in the Art Arena. Not that I know what gets votes in the AA, but it'd be pretty kickass regardless. Maybe if you got the commissioner to pimp it so all her guild vote it a 10 or something that'd work. ninja
Also, there's something funky with the perspective between the figures there. It looks like if the dude in the background stood up he'd be 12 feet tall or something. I think he either needs shrinking, or moving lower down so he's closer to her feet and such.

i think if you want them to appear to be looking at one another, you might keep in mind their respective hieghts and adjust the line of sight to be looking more up and down accordingly.
