[bored so i made up a random rant. feel free to reply, but you really don't have to]
Okay...
I'm really bored and I just went into my DDR guild and stuff... so yeah.
I just got this idea about what really pisses you off when you go to play DDR on the machines. Iono... just bored and was in a pissed off DDR mood. > >;;
Okay... I shall number my DDR rants.
o1. When people play on Standard and say they are so good. I went to the mall with my friend Vivian. So I begged her to play DDR and she was like,"Yeah... just shut up." So we were there and there were these girls who could barely even play an average Heavy song, showing off. What is there to show off? I mean, I'm not bragging or anything, but they don't even have haf of my skill. Anyway, they kept on asking people they know cannot play DDR well so they can look good and more superior and s**t. When I finally claimed a game [they were hogging the machine... which is what i will rant about next] I showed more skill than them. [again, im not bragging] They scoffed at me and said I had no life. What the ********? They say they're better than anyone and when someone better than them comes along, they claim that they have no life.
o2. Hogging. When you place a coin on the edge of the screen, you claim a game. When I went to Six Flags over the summer, I claimed a game. When I first get there, there's this 17 year old girl playing Beginner on her first song. Not wanting to wait, I claimed next game. Her parents were there, watching her and stuff. After her game was done, I walked over to play. As I was about to reach for the coin, she took it and placed it in the slot. I told her that I claimed next game and stuff and she was like, "You left your thing here, and didn't come back for it. It's mine now." What the hell? Not only do you posess no knowledge of how the arcade works, you're a b***h. :3
Yeah. So she kept popping in tokens game after game and kept on playing Butterfly. I'm not saying Butterfly is a bad song, but it will drive you crazy after hearing it 5 times in a row. When I finally got my turn, she began to mock me and s**t. It was so hard to keep myself from ripping out her guts.
o3. Those random people that play with me in the arcade. Whenever I choose a song, they're like, "I can't do that." Okay... then move down to Light/Beginner? They are so picky over the songs they want and when you've had enough, you just throw your arms in the arm and tell them they can pick. In the end, you just play the same song the whole game... which really sucks.
o4. Okay... I really have no problem with Beginners playing at the arcade. It's fine. I think I'm able to understand they don't practice as much, but it's just when they get all cocky over nothing is when it annoys me.
o5. Those people who have this skill and use it to show off. I mean, it's cool watching them. Kinda makes me jealous that they're better than me, which makes me want to improve on DDR. ANYWAYZ. I just don't like it when they get all cocky and think everybody sucks and they're the best. I mean, I don't care if good people go after me and other people are like, "He's better than you." I don't care. It's just when they do it to make others feel bad...
o6. I hate those people that go on the side of you and mimic what you do. Especially if they do it on purpose to be funny. It's not funny. It's stupid. When I see those people, I just want to roll my eyes into the back of my head where I can see my brain.
o7. People who stomp... I mean, no offense to anyone who does, but this applies to the people who stomp on the arrows that create such a force, I could have sworn it was an earthquake. Dude, you don't need to stomp. Just lightly step on the arrows. You're going to break the pads.
o8. I have said it before, but I will say it with EXTRA emphasis now.
I ------- HATE--------- LITTLE-------- KIDS.
Period.
There must've been 30 zooming in and out around me while I went to play at Six Flags. It's a wonder I can keep my concentration with all the foots being put on the pad, the unexpected darting across the pad, the crowding RIGHT NEXT to the pad - and the blank stares... oh spare me from the blank stares. I also hate it when people stand on the opposite side of the machine so if I turn my head slightly I can see them looking right back at me... that really gets old fast.
Okay... I no longer feel like explaining anything, so I shall list.
-People stepping on the second player mat and saying 'SEE, I CAN DO IT JUST AS GOOD AS YOU CAN!' and cant even keep up with the first 3 steps on heavy mode. They normally just get a good shove off the machine, though.
-People who try to talk like they know the game, saying 'OMG, I CAN PLAY DDR ON HARD MODE.' Just makes you want to smack someone > <;;
-People who tap their foot or clap during the game, especially when doing songs like 'The Whistle Song', 'Tsugaru', or any others that have freezing or slow downs during the song.
-People who think they have to talk and tell me if I miss an arrow or mess up my combo. I know, a*****e, now shut up.
-People, who aren't me, that are singing the song loud enough so I can hear it. Them being off-key normally does the job, but they're normally half a beat, or one eight note, off, which can dominate your chances of doing good.
-People who insist on trying to cut me in line. They just get a nice push out of the way. :'D
-People who say DDR sucks yet they barely know anything about the game.
-People who say they know everything about DDR yet they do not know what even double stepping is.
***People who see people doing dance moves on DDR machines and must point out that they missed a few arrows while dancing. This, I must explain. Whenever you find people dancing while playing a DDR song, it's called Freestyle. Despite the amount of arrows you get and the grade, if you are able to pass the song while being creative and original with your moves, it's totally fine.
BLAH.
Well, it's 2:3o AM and now I'm finally getting sleepy.

ummm.. yeah i suck at DDR but i am getting better..i think.. and it really was fun when we went to the sleepover and did DDR!!! i got better when i played then, but oh well...

Well, one's skill in DDR doesn't really bother me. It's just them being all obnoxious about it that gives me issues.
Anywayz, I'll hold a sleepover sometime over our school breaks and we can play DEE DEE ARE. :3

yes it would! we have another three day weekend next weekend and i am sure that there is some other break coming up so we shall figure something out.. and speaking of going over peoples houses i gotta go cuz i am leaving for my mom's and then going over lazi's!!! ^_^

Meaning that it is similar to the General Discussion, Chatterbox [in some way], and Life Issues.
This sub-forum is suppose to help people express their feelings, whether it's anger, depression, etc.
