- Dominating the center of the castle complex, the main building and bastion of the structure is a large building, elegant in its construction with loops and whorls of inscription worked into its very structure. Sporting a dazzling facade of jewels, the building glints in the sun, drawing the eye, as well as the body towards its impressive entrance.
Yet for evening visitors the building is no less impressive. Rounded towers framing each corner of the structure emit a soft glow as evening falls, progressing to full light come nightfall, the warm glow as inviting as the splendor of its daytime effects.
Once within the building, a spacious room continues to put visitors at their ease, soft green the dominant theme here. Elegant emerald couches sit before a large open fireplace, two love couches framing them, and the relaxing amenities of a pool table and bar lend themselves to the friendly atmosphere. Even the warmth of the deep pile carpet is perfectly offset by the cool marble walls, again the dominant theme showing itself in the green veins running through the marble. Overhead, a chandelier reflects the flickering light of the fire, bathing the room in warm light.
Leading off from the main room via a door set to the back of the area, a series of small steps leads down into the kitchens, cool stone floors and expansive space setting this aside as a functional workspace, long benches lined with cooking apparel and utensils. A roaring fire at the far end of the kitchen allows for such activities as major feasts and roasts, while more conventional equipment lines another wall. Despite the cool open space and its well thought design, like all kitchens this one bustles with activity and noise, the scent of cooking and spices drifting through the air and out into the courtyard via the small servants entrance at the back of the kitchens.
A second door to the back of the main room leads to a flight of stairs spiraling upwards into the spacious dormitories, 70 rooms spaciously laid out with their own en suite bathrooms and basic amenities - a bed, wardrobe, bedside unit and window overlooking various parts of the grounds. Fresh sheets line the beds, warm towels hang from rail in the bathroom, each room aired daily and prepared for any visitor in need of rest and succor.
As a final detail to this beautiful building, a set of stairs leads out of the main room, spiraling up past the emerald warmth of the bar and fire to the sumptuous Council Room, a conference area for the discussion of important issues. Bedecked in rosewood and maroon, the chamber holds plenty of space of rits guests to sit, comfortable chairs provided around a central table, the walls lined with bookcases and paintings. It is at once a beautiful space, but filled with the gravity of its use and necessity.
