This rp is for my Cadaver and WNC's Cassandra. Please do not post unless asked to. Cadaver wandered silently through darkness that fell upon the sleeping world, lingering in the darker shadows that were cast upon the ground by the trees that surrounded the Kiwani village. Rarely did he come near here, but tonight be felt like being a bit adventurous, or maybe it was just curiosity. But as they often said curiosity killed the cat. But he was no cat, so logically he wouldn't be killed by his curiosity.
A pregnant moon shone down upon the sleepy village, casting dark shadows along the walk ways between the simple two legger homes that were similar to his own two leggers home. His footfalls soft along the moist ground as he moved along. Though stopping frequently to listen to the world around him. Unlike others, his world was complete darkness except for the few things he could see, though his other senses were fine tuned so he could get around just as easily as any other Soquili.
His wanderings brought him along the far outer edge of the village and into a large meadow with a river running along it's far side. Giveing his braided tail a flick, he wandered out from the shadows, looking across the land with his milky white eyes as a normal Soquili with normal sight would. A soft cold wind ran along his back and up his neck, makeing the feather behind his ear flutter softly. He gave a snort before he continued on into the meadow.

A gorgeous blood spotty bay with purple stripes appeared grazing right near the small river in the meadow. She was named Cassandra after her father. She has her mother's sweetness and her father's personality which is known for its nuttiness. She hears someone or something when her ears pricked up from picking up a sound.
Cassandra stomped her hoofs nervously before looking up to the night sky to see if the moon was indeed out. She then smiled then moves on to wonder just who or what was out there.
Once again her ears pricks up at another sound, she looked towards where the sound had came from. She sees a gorgeous black stallion and gulped, suddenly felt herself becoming shy which was very unusual for someone like her. "... Just who is he?.. Is he nice? Or Mean?" She thought to herself inside her mind as she began to walk towards the stallion.

Cadaver's ears perked slightly as he heard hoof beats against the ground and stopped instantly in his tracks. Turning his head slightly, he stared at the glowing aura that seemed to appear out of the darkness. It was a bright orange with yellow mixed into it, which was interesting. It had been a while since he'd seen one like that.
He shuffled his feet lightly as he watched it draw closer, giveing his two toned tail a quick flick side to side as he raised a single white eyebrow. His eyelids lidding half way over his snow white eyes as he just stood there watching. A bit curious.
The scent from it was female. A mare. He seemed to be running into a lot of those lately. Besides Rahu and that....other stallion who shouldn't even be called a stallion for the way he acted.

Cassandra's eyes widen at the sight of the stallion as she continue to walk closer to him. "He seemed to be a friendly stallion but mama always told me that looks can be decieving. I'd better be careful." She said to herself in her mind.
She flicked her tail back and forth nervously while finally getting close enough where he could hear her.. but barely. "... Hi.." She said shyly with a soft but cute smile. "I'm... um... C.. Cassandra.. " She giggled nervously, uncertain if she could trust him.

As she spoke, both of Cadaver's eyebrows lifted slightly. What was wrong with this mare? She seemed...nervous for some reason. Well, she could be nervous from the way he looked. A lot of people got nervous around him sometimes.
Mentally shrugging and sighing, he flicked his tail again and turned his head slightly giveing her a sideways glance. Little specks of light blue started to mingle in with her aura. So she was nervous, though it completly threw Cadaver off as to why. After a moment of silence, he replied to her greeting. "Hello, Cassandra. I'm Cadaver...." The white of his eyes seemed to darken lightly. He never gave others his entire name, he hated it yet it was interesting to him all the same.

Cassandra only seemed to giggle nervously as she had never before seen a stallion as handsome as he. "... It is very nice to meet you, Ca... Cadaver." She had a hard time saying his full name, being as nervous as she is.
She shook her head to make her mane get out of her face before beginning to sway in the wind. She nickered slightly as the side of her body sparkles faintly due to the full moon. "... You.. You may call me Cassie" She spits out the words as she knew she had to try to stop being so shy and nervous since he seemed to want to be her friend.

Cadaver sighed mentally again. Jesus. Did this mare have like a stuttering problem or something? It would take forever to get any full sentances out of her. He gave his tail another flick before letting it hang loosely against his hinde quarters.
"Ok then....Cassie." He watched her closely, though he couldn't see any direct details of what she looked like. All he could see was the mass of aura that was in her form. A small breeze flew along his back and neck, makeing the feather behind his ear ruffle softly.

Cassie looks at him shyly and then moved closer to get a good look. "... I love your.. e.. eyes, Cadaver." She flickers her ears back and forth to catch any sounds other than the river to see if anyone was around them.
She smiled as she began to feel safer to be around him. ".. You seem to be a sweet stallion." She burred softly to let him know that she is happy. "... But.. Cadaver?... Why are your eyes so white? Forgive me if I sound so horrid and rude asking." She said while flattening her ears, in hope that she hadn't offended him.

He moved his head back slightly as she got closer and raised an eyebrow at her compliment. Cadaver's ear twitched a bit as she asked her question. "They're the way they are because I am blind...." That was basically the answer he gave everyone who asked about them. Not likeing to go into the past as to why he was blind in the first place.
She seemed to be getting a little less nervous around him, which he wasn't sure was a good thing or a bad thing. He had encountered many mares but not like this one. Well, one with a stuttering problem that seemed to just be her being nervous. But why was she?

Cassie looked at him and said with a smile. "You don't seem to let that stop you from being yourself.. don't you? Mama always said that no to judge one by their looks but by their heart." She burred once again while flick her tail back and forth.
The wind began to blow across her body and mane, making her curls sway in the wind as if they were meant to be flying. "I won't ask how you became this way.. Because I can see it in your emotions that it would hurt you to talk about it..." She frowns, not wanting to hurt anyone with words or violence at all.

"Of course I don't. I don't feel that just because I can't see things the ways others do means that should inhibit me from living a normal life like any other..." His tail snapped against the wind that had begun to blow, the feather behind his ear flicking against the side of his neck and he looked around lightly before looking back at her.
"Good. I prefer not to talk about it anyway. It's something that doesn't bring back pleasant memories..." His tail gave another snap before it hung loosely against his hinde quarters. Even just thinking about it, or tip toeing around that subject made him a bit agitated.

Cassie whined when she heard the agiation in his voice and slowly backs away. "I am sorry for saying anything about it. Please forgive me, Cadaver." Her voice was hidden with a bit of sadness as she merely talked. She looked to the side where the wind was coming from, letting the breeze cover her with coolness of the night.
"Such a gorgeous night with the moon being out. You can feel the safeness of being out here. That is why I am rarely seen during the day. My parents thinks I take after my daddy but I rarely do.. He is so nutty." She chuckles at her own joke, hoping to lighten up the tension in the air around him. ".. I would love if we can be friends, Cadaver.. I would love to get to know you alot more. What do you say?"

Cadaver sighed lightly and shook his head. "Nevermind it. Just forget about it." He could hear the sadness in her voice as she started to back away slowly. Though he really didn't like talking about it, it just hurt him too much. But it was what had made him the way he was today.
A single eyebrow raised as he watched her. Become friends? Get to know him a lot more? What exactly did she mean by that? It made him curious yet wary all at the same time. Giveing his tail another sharp flick, he rolled these thoughts around in his mind. "Time will tell how our relationship towards one another will turn out futhur along the road...." It was the truth really. Cadaver didn't keep many around him, usually because of things that happened in the future. Someone usually always ended up being hurt. And more often than not it wasn't him.

Cassandra looks at him with her ears flatten down while tilting her head. "... I am sorry if I had said something wrong, Cadaver." She moved closer to see just what he would do. She said, "That is true.. Time is the main factor on relationships but it is also whether or not trust can be formed within the two who dare to be friends. But you know what? Life is too short to be worried and scared all the time. We should do exciting things to learn more about what we can or cant do to our limitations.. Fear shouldn't rule you but you should rule fear, understand? Meaning don't let fear trouble your heart, Cadaver."
She then looked to the sky, flickering her ears once again to hear the crickets. She sighed with a smile, feeling so safe being with Cadaver. There was something about Cadaver that makes her want to trust him with all of her heart. She soon began to think to herself. "... Maybe he really need a friend to be around with.. someone that he has something in common with. I can tell that he has fear in his heart for some reason or other." She once again respired before looking over to him with concern, something she had never before felt in her entire life for anyone besides her parents.

Fear troubling his heart? What was this she was spouting off? Cadaver had no fear, he had lived a hard life early on, that word meant nothing to him. Haveing come close to death had left him numb from that feeling that could strike down a stallion in less than a heart beat. Oh no, he had no fear. He was cautious and for reasons only he himself knew for the moment that other's probably couldn't understand. Giveing a snort, he flicked his ear quickly as he eyed her for a moment before even speaking.
"Fear has never ruled me...and never will. My heart is not as troubled as you probably think, Cassie. I'm sure there are other's out there besides myself who would gain better thoughts from you're words. Don't talk to me about fear unless you've experianced the magnitude of fear I had experianced as a child. Then maybe you can be on an equal level of understanding the kind of fear the runs through a young foals heart when he watches a slauter of those close to him right infront of his very eyes. The fear it goes through as his life hangs nearly on the line. The fear of never knowing what might happen next. Untill eventually...that feeling of fear becomes numb in his heart and no matter how hard it tries...fear can never rule in his heart again." His voice was dark, but not bitter. What did she know of fear? She had probably grown up happy with her family, lived a sheltered life of love and joy.
