i am taking guitar leasons to get even better than i already am, ( learning cords.) and this one older dude asked me what kind or guitar i was looking for. i almost instantly said telecaster, and he told me he didn't have one. i think he is a collecter, and he offerd me a hofner. i have heard they are preaty good guitars. (plus they have a set neck.)

This is an old German company (late 1800s I believe), popularize by the Beatles as Paul McCartney played a Hofner President bass. I don't know s**t about anything modern they would have done, but the vintage stuff should be golden.
