Well, my other topic got moved here, so I thought I'd this one in the manga section too, so, I have a question for anyone who read the 7th volume. D:<
*spoilerrrr* How did Mitsuki's illness become cured? Tumors don't magically go away. Did it explain it in the manga and I missed it, maybe? It said something about how since Mitsuki turned into FullMoon so much, that the disease didn't progress, but that doesn't mean it went away.*endspoiler*
Anyone know? xD

Oh yeah...I wondered about that too at first, but I figured it out pretty easily.
(In volume 6, Mitsuki said that she would have the operation and that she wouldn't die. Oshige and Wakaouji also also said they would bring her to the hospital right after the concert. So, although the chapter of the concert ended with just the concert ending, Mitsuki went to the hospital right after. And the operation must have been a great success! She didn't even lose her voice!)
But ah! I love the whole volume! THe last chapter is the best ending I've ever read in a manga...ever! It made me cry...manga never makes me cry!

I got my 7th Volume!! I think I remember that she got her voice by Mystere (head Mistress of shinigami) and Sheldan(Boss and also undercover as Jonathon) using all their powers to get Mitsuki's voice and also Takuto's.

I just finished reading the last volume.
I luved it,though I didn't cry but that's a good thing.
I'm pretty tired of reading sad endings anyway so 2 thumbs up for this one.
I don't like the anime ending much...& what happened to Meroko...poor Izumi T__T

The manga had its own sad points, and to be honest I was so sad by epsiode 40 of the anime that I almost was unable to finish the series...but the thing I've been wondering is how did Ari-nachi come up with two completely different endings like that? They share some similarities, but the most pivotal point in the anime (near epsiode 40) was completely remade into something else in the manga. If I knew a reliable way to ask her, I would....I mean, as the creator I wouldn't be able to rewrite something that I put my heart and soul into...So does anyone know of a way to be able to write her or email her? Thankies! ^_^

I've always wondered how that happened, too. I don't think Hiromu Arakawa was in control of how the anime ended up... and the Fullmoon O Sagashite artist said in one of the volumes [I forgot which one] that she loved the way the anime was going. The way she said it sounded like she had nothing to do with it. I'm not sure...

Arina really does have nothing to do with the development of the anime. They created the ending on their own. People think that manga-ka have a lot to do with anime too, but they usually don't.
Arina gets to hear what's going on in the naime first and they go to her with advice, but she's really just an observer like the rest. The people behind the anime must have decided after it was found out Eichi was dead, that they could come up with a good ending, and that was that. Arina really had nothing to do with the ending of the anime...along with anything episode not directly from her manga too I'd say. She's really just a manga-ka. She works on her manga and not the anime. What they do is out of her hands...unless she wanted to step in I assume.

Oh, I see. That's a shame in way, don't you guys think? I mean, a novelist would like their idea put to the big screen, but it doesn't seem to happen very often. I wonder why people ignore the creator like that?
