ceilisidhe One year closer to death.....have you been worthy of the space you've occupied this past year? I am not sure how him turning 18 makes him one year closer to death. It is not as though people die when they turn forty. Though maybe they should.

No, he merely means that by turning 18 he has passed through another year of life, bringing him one year closer to death.
I say that line too, as well as, "Happy Anniversary of the Escape of your Former Womb"
It's nice being 18, no more curfew, you can joing the military, you can vote, you can go to Casinos, you can buy power tools and high end explosive powerders.
I'm enjoying it too, turned 18 less than a month ago ^_^
