I like the face of the first one, but you do need to work a bit on anatomy.
Study some random anime pictures, that's what I did.

she's right. you might want a little more going on too, some more detail. most of it is very clean, but very plain. even if it's a small portrait, a couple of freckles or shadowing would be nice. id like to see more of your work!
