Zerton was recently killed by Otoke. Did he let Otoke win? Who knows.
All his will says is that Brock gets Zerton's dojo and Zerton's secret scrolls. Also his will says that Rendal may have Zerton's sword, and may have the rank of a legendary swordsman, if Rednal wishes.

Otoke laughed evilly as he took something off Zerotan's body that was all dark and left saying but really a whisper "Bye dad" Why would a cchild kill his father? it is uknown but Otoke is starting to be a threat to the ninja world
