Have you got it? Mmmm, the first one for the GBA was so good, and now that Sacred Stones is out (also for GBA) I can't help but loving it. There's a lot of changes, not to mention a fantastic new plot. So I can't help but wonder, who else is addicted to Fire Emblem.
Things to discuss: Favorite characters and why (either plot-wise or game-wise), fun strategies, leveling techniques (do you prefer the arena or actual combat?), the multiplayer option (I've never tried this myself but maybe someone has).
My personal guidelines, make sure your clear which game you're talking about, and try to avoid spoilers to those who haven't finished the game(s) yet.
That being said: In the first Fire Emblem for GBA (in America at least) my favorite character plot-wise is Lyn, cause you get involved in her story right at the beginning, although I'm also quite partial to the Nino/Jaffar story. I love Canas, as the only shaman in the game, plus he just rocks. Heath owns my skies (unless I'm playing Hector's mode and can get all three peg knight sisters, in which case my elysian whips are spread woefully thin).
Haven't finished Sacred Stones yet, so I'll reserve judgement.

Gives thread CPR. The Fire Emblem games are so good, I don't know why people aren't talking about them. Is it because nobody plays GBA games anymore?

I love the Fire Emblem series, I got all the FE games that came out in the U.S and I also downloaded FE6 for the GBA (FE6 is the sequel to the first FE in the U.S but was release before FE7 came out). So far I like FE6 ^_^ but I havn't beaten it yet though. My favorite FE game would be The Scared Stones due to I can do the world map and continue to level up my characters and then me and my bro gather our best characters and do arena, fun stuff. Second, I have to say Path of Radiance, its different from the previous FE games, the whole laguz thing and all. Anyways, yeah, FE pwns! :ninja"

i wuv fe blazing sword, fe sacred stones, and fe path of radiance. i have beaten the ones for gb and im on the last chapter in the gc one. my fav characters are soren, stefan, ismaire, joshua, kent, ephraim, lyn, heath, and rath. i love eliwood bashing. ^_^

I've only played the first one for GBA, and I loved it.
I tried the one out for the gamecube (I cant remember its name) and I didnt like it. It was just silly and it bothered me.
I havent actually beaten it yet, mostly because I cant find it ^^;
I havent played Sacred Stones yet, but I might, depending on how good the first one is when I beat it.
I've never even seen any of the Japanese ones (apparently theres a lot of them), and I also heard theres an anime involving FE characters. Roy and someone else...M something.
I think my favourite character so far is either Erk, Marcus, the cleric girl (also cant remember her name), Rath or Lucius.
Yay for bards?

I love the 2 for GBA! heart Haven't beaten them yet, though. Also I haven't played Path of Radience for the GC

(from SSB:M) I have a rom of that in Japanese....hard to play, though since the controls aren't in the same place whee

I've played the first one, and I just bought the second one yesterday afternoon (I'm such a procrastinator..!) But yeah, FE pwns. Definitely. My favorite characters from the first one are definitely Matthew, Guy and Erk. And Lyn too, because she slices n' dices so very, very well. Eliwood was pretty useless at first, but he kinda grows on ya. rolleyes

I've played Path of Radience and I think it was a pretty fun game. I kinda liked the the whole strategy thing. I'm playing the game for the second time now, trying to get all the characters 3nodding

The only FE I've played is FE: Path of Radiance, but I love it so far (even though I'm not very good at it). My favorite character is prbably Oscar. I love how he always seems like he's smiling, even when he's being serious. I wish Ike would smile occasionally, though...
