Doctor Kitaka was very immersed in his work... so immersed that he didn't notice when a fire broke out and burned down several portions of the lab. The fire was caused by one of his genetically altered lizards, one among many strange creatures. Most of his experiments made it out alive and hid in the Pyrenne forest, where their odd decendants still reside... Doctor Kitaka died with his lab. The ruins are still partially intact. Some roofs are actually still in place... everything is sooty and plant life was invading the outer turfs... however, the stranger, more metallic sections within the outer wall repelled the plant life. It's quite hard to distinguish where is where in the rubble, and what used to be what... there are several levels underground that remain untouched and possibly still functional. It's a fun place for hide and seek... or paintball gun games.

Damian headed over towards the burnt down lab. He hadn't noticed this place before and it happened to catch his attention. Moving closer Damian shoved his hands into his pockets. Heading towards the abandoned place he turned his head and waved over to Rain, signaling for him to follow.

"Don't be such a baby Rain. Nothing here is going to bite you."

Rain gulped and slowly headed over to the ruins of the lab. Looking around curiously. This part of the place looked rather burnt. As he looked around he felt Damian grabbing his hand and forcing him along. The two of them heading deeper into the lab.

"This place doesn't seem to have anything interesting." Damian said aloud. Looking down he remembered Tenza, he was really starting to miss her. She had certinly been a very interesting creature. Besides he hadn't introduced her to Rain yet. Perhaps if he played his cards right he would bring Tenza into the world of darkness to give himself a better companion then Rain. Sure Rain was nice but he was so delicate that it tended to get on his nerves.

"Come on Rain we are leaving!" Damian shouted as he turned and headed off for the west courtyard.

Rain looked up from where he had been, having found an old research book laying in the debris. Watching Damian Rain decided to hurry up. He held the book in his left hand as he headed out after his Master. Following him to the west courtyard.

The car stopped just outside of the range of the Lab, near the woods. It quite far to the meeting place, but they were in no hurry. All was dark save for the few lights that were still up and running about the ruins. The forestry had consumed most of the the outskirts, but the inner parts of the laboratory seemed to be fine.

Rivera made her way towards the center, watching as the other birds made silent haste to their agreed positions. This will be fine... Her eyes were trianed on none but Virgo himself. The blond-haired giant stood in the center of it all, watching her arrival with a smirk. He had never seen the face of the Gyrfalcon, just as she had never seen his. He seemed a little surprised, however, that the Gyfalcon was a mere girl, barely fifteen. But he did not take confidence in her low age level. He knew that a unanimously chosen leader of an anarchist alliance must have power... enough power for those that did not wish for any leader to all decide upon a single person to look towards for management.

Rivera noted that Virgo was quite short... that he was shorter than Kira by maybe three or four inches, maybe even shorter. He was a few inches taller than herself. That spoke a bit for her own height. She nodded to him as they stopped at the center of the field, ten meters off from each other, and bowed.

A second later, everything within ten meters of either of them were leveled except for each other. A yellowish-green blast of energy formed a ring around him while the black dragon formation took immediate hold of her, causing chaos energy to spark around her dangerously. Bullets flew immediately as they became invisible. The only thing any onlooker could see were blasts of colliding energy ramming into each other in the sky. Their figures were lost.

Kira watched the display begin and stood in awe. It was impossible to see either Virgo or Rivera. Kira felt a hand grab his shoulder and roughly shake him. "Kira, don't watch them you fool, keep your eyes open, for all we know, the rest of the constellations could be in hiding, waiting for us to let our guard down..." Shinku said quietly. "Now pay attention, and make sure we aren't snuck up on." He said. Kira nodded, shaking off his bewilderment, and rested his right hand on Diabolo, ready to draw and fire at the first sign of attack.

"How old are you?" Virgo asked as they clashed blades, narrowly dodging a bullet to the head at such a close distance.

Rivera answered when they met again. "I don't know." Her voice was void of life. The black dragon tore at him lime-green aural energy. It was like fireworks in the sky.

"But you do know where you come from...?" He asked again.

"It doesn't exist anymore." She took a slash across her cheek and retaliated with a powerful stab in his side. That gave her time to aim a shot for his heart, which he evaded easily by melting the bullet with its own speed.

"You're a strange one, Gyrfalcon." He suddenly stabbed her with a hidden needle, making her cringe. "Don't ask, don't tell?"

Rivera shuddered. That needle must've been poisoned. This wasn't good. She couldn't believe that she forgot about this little factor. Her strength was fading quickly and the very blood in her veins burned with every beat of her heart. Rage upped the level on her Black Dragon, burning it until it gained a phoenix form. Phoenix formation was the level right below the Goddess formation. It was her second most powerful form. She had never been able to reach it. And the last time she got close, she almost killed herself.

Virgo answered her by raising his own power. It didn't seem like an effort at all. She had forgotten to tell Kira about this when she lost her thoughts. Virgo was way past her league. He set a league of his own. It hurt, everything hurt. She hated herself for her ignorance.

The white dragon slashed through the skies in a blaze of anger, ripping at him, tearing gashes into him, burning him. He seemed to be immune to whatever poisons she coated onto her blades. How was that? She customized her poisons to be potent and effective. How can he not be effected?

The fireworks lasted for forever, it seemed. It was ten minutes of sheer chaos in the sky, and it never seemed to end. Usually, thirty to forty minutes marked an elite assassin's endurance limits... when facing off against another elite, it was shortened to a mere fifteen. But Virgo was different... he made even the greatest fighters into mincemeat at the end of five minutes. The fact Rivera was able to keep off for that long was only because of her speed. No matter what he did, she was always much faster than he was.

The area was littered with craters from where they had contacted the ground, only to spring into the air again. Such horror was never seen. Rivera felt her body going numb. Her time was running out... Virgo gave her no time to plan and got right to business, as a good assassin should. She screamed out as long blade brought them to the ground and pinned her into concrete. She could feel him him twisting the knife, and she fought to stay silent.

"Last words?" He asked. She really was no match for him. It was a pity that the young must die.

"Kira... I won't be coming back alive after all..." She fired every one of her remaining shots into Virgo, but they were poor aims with her so disoriented. Even at such a close range, only three made their target, and they were only nicks against the skin. Her vision faded to the shadows of rising angels. The signal was sighted.

One term of Alliance Warring was broken. One may not deliberately torture another. If death is to be dealt, it should be done with as little pain as possible. Her alliance had seen, and they were carrying out her orders as they were given. She could feel Virgo growing closer.

"Good-bye, Kira... I'll always love you."

Kira felt Koishi vibrate in its sheath and heard two words echo in his head. It's time... The changes were almost unnoticable as he darted between Rivera and Virgo, making a straight stab for Virgo's shoulder with newly formed claws and placing Diabolo against his head and pulling the trigger. "I will not let you kill her..." Came a low demonic growl. Kira had changed completely. His body was nothing but a humanoid mass of dark energy with the occasional ripple of light energy through it, his once full white wings were nothing but strange barbed blades which were poised to srike straight through every vital organ in Virgo's body, and his eyes were a white blaze that held the utmost rage for any who dared to harm Rivera. Koishi had melded with Kira's body and had already shifted his left arm into a blade that was twisting in Virgo's shoulder.

The battle had brought a cloaked figure to the battle. He stood away from entire battle. Hiding stealth. He did not wished to fight, only to observe. " Targets are confirmed to be here. First one seems to be on hurt badley. Second one seems to just be entering the fray. I believe the first one is stronger. She seems to be able to use chaos energy but is not a Chaos vampire. Maybe some linega in the past was. Vamp what the hell is the interest in these kids?!" the figure spook into the microphone in his cloak.

" They will needed. We have Luna on our side. We need those two to complete the circle. The girl and the boy are stronger than they appear. The girl especially since she emits chaos energy. And she has fought Mergex before. keep watching. Do not interfere unless targets are in extreme danger" said Vamp back to the figure.

" This is gonna be a long night...." said the figure as he watched on from his postion.

"Goddamnit!" Kestrel summoned wings of paper and sliced through bullets and flesh all with a single low sweep, flames burning in her eyes. "Phoenix, how's it going on your end?"

Phoenix's answer came in the form of four consecutive kills in less than four seconds. He chose not to speak at all, the redhead with a temper contrastive to his hair.

That was as good an answer as any for Kestrel. The other eleven elites were too much for them to handle, however, and they turned away from their wrath. Osprey joined them from the other end, his hands bloodied and his face flecked with red. "Kes, I'm done on my side, and Hawk should be done pretty soon too. He doesn't have Kira's back up."

"Where'd Kira go?" Kestrel asked.

"He just finished off Virgo." Osprey noted. "Kes, you can heal. I think the princess is dying."

"Hellsfire!" She curse and plummeted to earth, her paper feathers falling around her in a snow of thin parchment as she loosened her control on them. Clasping her hands to Rivera's, she noticed that her body temperature was dangerously low. The poison was effective after all, and the cut through her shoulder pierced her through all the way. Uncorking a vial from her belt pouch, she tilted a few drops into her throat, then immediately started to bind up her wounds.

Rivera came to, her eyes flickering before they focused. "Am I dead?"

"Stop talking like you're dreaming, damnit." Kestrel muttered and tugged on the bandage a little harder than she should.

"Ow! Okay, I'm alive." She shook her head and looked down to see Virgo's dead body. The bullet hole was too big to be from one of her own. "Kira...?"

"Damn right." Kestrel sighed. "We still have the remaining eleven elites to take care of. You two and Shinku are the only ones powerful enough. I can raise the dead, but they won't be worth much more than shields for you."

Rivera jumped to her feet, wincing at the the pain in her body. Maybe she over did the phoenix formation. Well, no loss now. She immediately forced her reawakened chaos energy into a white aural flame that tore into the heavens. The silver bird sang its requiem as her eyes became colorless orbs of light. "Kairyu." Her sword appeared at her command and merged part of the hiltguard into her hands and wrists, like rippling silver waves over her arm. She assessed the power they would need to defeat eleven elites... well, twelve. Gemini is an assassin duo. Yeah... that would be about right.

Her knees shook with the effort of keeping her body stable. The poison was only temporarily supressed. Its true effects are still present in her body. If she exerts herself too much, it could mean passing out again, and perhaps, eventual death. But there was too much to lose. She had to defeat them at any cost.

"Kairyu, come to life." She kissed the dragon shaped hilt of her blade. The crosspiece writhed and became a dragon created of pure chaos energy. A crater formed beneath her feet with every step she took. Rivera had achieved goddess possession. Her human mind was supressed, and the quarter of her that was dragon began to take over consummate with her atlantean heritage. If there was a hybrid born to create storms, she was it.

Thunderhead rolled in overhead, and the bloodlust brought fangs to her face. It was time to unleash an armeggadon upon the world of the stars.

" That's not possible! How can she genrrate that much Chaos energy? That almost rivials yours Vamps. But she is not like us. how is she doing it? That level of chaos energy is hard to use, even for Chaos Vampires!" the figured yelled into the microphone. There was a small laugh on the other side of it.

" Of course brother. Like I said. The chaos wars where fought on this planet. Maybe her great great relatives mated with a soilder or something. Or maybe we aren't the only one's who can use Chaos energy. Maybe her race is a copy of ours. Or we are a copy of her's. Keep an eye on this. This battle seems to only get tougher. I feel the prence of serval other beings that are not in her favor. If things get bad, interfere. But only if they are about to die and there is no hope. I cannot risk my plan getting thrown ahead" said Vamp to his brother, the cloaked figure, Aimless.

" Ok I will" he said watching turning his focus back to the front.

Shinku was the one who was now in awe. Kira had just killed Virgo as effortlessly as if he was just stomping an ant to death. Then, he heard a sound of metal sliding on wood and drew his combat knife in time to catch two blades. "Gemini... Looks like I get to kill the next generation too..." He muttered with a look of smug satisfaction on his face. They both darted away, then one of them dashed straight at him, the other following with only a split second between them. He raised his combat knife and caught the two swords dangerously near his throat. He then felt both of their feet smash into his ribs from both sides, causing him to hack up blood. He had a few broken ribs, but now that he was marked, he couldn't stop fighting them unless they were dead, and anytime before that meant his own death. They both kept theirblades locked with his combat knife and fought him with a flurry of hand to hand attacks which he had difficulty blocking with only his left hand. Then, he found the right moment. The brunette man from gemini had sent his fist for Shinku's face and the blonde sister was about to attack his ribs again. Shinku reached for his chrome revolver Salvation and tilted his head to avoid the blow from the brother. He drew his gun, aimed for the brother's chest and fired, switching his target quickly for the sister's chest and putting a hole there. Immediately after, he ran to Osprey and Phoenix so he'd have some help. He had drawn the black revolver Damnation and was firing both at whichever target got in his line of fire.

Kira had engaged Capricorn and Pisces at the same time, swatting away their bullet and blade attacks with his left hand, now completely coated in Koishi's metal. He grabbed Capricorn's blade and gave a demonic grin as he snapped it. Capricorn was an easy target then as he was just standing scared. He lifted his gun and fired but Kira swatted the bullets away effortlessly, then raised Diabolo and ended Capricorn while firing at Pisces blade, causing it to shatter. His left hand formed completely into a blade again and he sprinted straight up to pisces and ran her through, getting spattered in blood. Four down... Eight to go... He thought, noting that Shinku had killed Gemini but had already fallen back.

"Oh... so the rest of them aren't so magical." Rivera muttered to herself as four more went down just by being within five feet of her, their bodies shredded. Their blood splattered her pale skin, but she didn't seem to take much notice of it. Her chaos energy was going out of control, she was trying to tone it down a few notches. If it went completely hay wire, she'd be the one in trouble. The poison was still in her body, just a ticking time bomb. Exerting herself will only hasten the countdown.

"Four left..." She winced. Okay, so she miscalculated the time that she was given. Was Kestrel's temporary antidote that ineffective? She felt like she was on the verge of collapse again. Maybe she should've eaten more for breakfast... or less. One of those two. She felt quite sick.

Her hand suddenly flashed up and snatched a bullet from the air. Rivera turned her wrist and sent an energy lash in a spherical formation around her. Saggitarius... possibly the best shot locally. Never has he missed a target for their location. His bullets were strong enough fo slice through her chaos aura. She sent up her dragon to devour the pest.

Kira noticed a woman in the constellations who wasn't as easilly shaken as her now dead comrades. Aeries. She was firing with an automatic pistol and a semi-auto. Kira's left arm had now completely formed into a sheet of metal, shileding him from her bullets. Kira's eyes flashed crimson as vampiric instinct took over and he saw the heat signal from her body. He aimed his gun from around the shield and fired three times in rapid succession. Two bullets for her heart and the last for her head. She fell easilly and he felt a piercing pain in his right leg. Aquarius had shot him and actually succeeded in hitting him. He turned, gave a bloodthirsty grin and was on his enemy in a second. He grabbed the woman by her throat, slammed her head back to reveal her throat, and sank his teeth directly into her flesh, gorging himself on her blood before ripping away from her throat and slashing her head off as she fell. This was too easy.

" Vamp these guys are amazingly strong. Thought they might have a hard time but they are tearing through these guys like butter. I think we under esimated them. They are much stronger than my bracelets predicted. And there still so young. But we need to get to them soon. I can feel Mergex around here. I don't think he would stupid enough to act but smart enough to gather info. i don't think I'll be here longer. Once they finsh up I'll head out and give you a full report. Aimless out" he said turning off his mic. He folded his arms again watching the battle. He did not expect for it to go on much longer.

By the time Libra fell from her hand, her windpipe torn clean from her throat, Rivera was at wit's end. The chaos was trying to possess her. It was turning on her with a menace... She shuddered as she forced herself to let go of it, falling to one knee and clutching her arms against herself, curled up slightly. All the pain repressed by the phoenix formation came rushing back to her when the white bird dispersed. She finally understood the full extent of the poison's destructiveness. Without supporting chaos energy, she couldn't even move her body. She was completely disoriented... was this all of them? Well... Shinku took out two... She took out six... Kira took out five... yeah... that should be it... Maybe she could rest now...

A sharp pain cracked right through one of her ribs, splintering bone fragments into her lung. Damn... to kill all the elites and get shot by a little sniper! She felt overwhelmed by everything. This was ridiculous. It was surviving the desert heat to be killed by a mosquito's bite! For a moment, she felt like her brain was going to explode from the pain, the trickery and the number of people she had to keep track of on both sides. The next moment, she just gave up on everything and passed out. It'll be a while before she wakes up again, depending on the circumstances.

The rest of the crew didn't seem so badly damaged. They took out the remainder of the pesky stars. Phoenix was just blowing smoke from his Trespasser .12, having taken out the last sniper. Kestrel caught up. She had suffered several knife wounds, but none of them were too serious. The same case went for Osprey, but being over seven feet tall gave him an excuse. He was sorta hard to miss, and the fact that so many people missed him brought the hammer down on their heads. They all met down near the main field where all was dying back down.

Kestrel immediately began to dislodge the bullet with efficient hands and sparse supplies. It was Rivera's own fault she was so badly stocked right now. Most of her bandages and things ended up being used on the reckless girl. Kestrel offered though, so it was partially her fault as well. It wasn't exactly Rivera's fault that she was reckless. She was just too childish to understand.
