my life problems arent nearly as bad as usagi's or kiwi's but i still need to blow off some steam. tay already knows about this, but oh well.
I have this guy friend i like, but my mom and dad clearly want me to stay away from him.
Several weeks ago, when i was signing up for a culture for chinese school, i wanted to choose newspaper, but he was in it. Eventually my mom signed me up for newspaper but not before telling me to stay away from him because he was "shadowing" or in otherwords, stalking me. I was like WTF? He's my friend. Cant i even choose my own friends? of course i didnt say that, but yeah.
Also, last year, i went to this open house for my art class for help on a drawing, and he was there too. It took me about three hours to color the pic and stuffles like that. Then his dad came and picked him up. Five minutes later my dad picked me up. Then he started lecturing me about how i should stay away from certain people and something about it affection my future etc. and then i stopped listening, but he was definetaly talking about my friend.
I am currently VERY pisssed. Helpeth please?

Ah. Boy problems. I'm currently in that situation too. Currently, his mom thinks I'm some kind of tramp. It's icky. As for you, I say screw it. Why do your parents care so much? Just tell them you guys are friends. Plus, stalking is love. :3 And if you wanna take your anger out on something/someone, take it out on Jonathan. :'D

...hehe....ja, this is a really sticky situation. ...meet in secret? ...like romeo and juliet? (you need a monk though..) I dunno...I kinda suck when it comes to these things... meh mom thinks Chelsea is emotionally disturbered and she want me to 'cut' our relationship. Meh dad thinks I'm going homo XD
Maybe try 'acidentally' meeting up with the dude and let your parents see how nice of a guy he is? Or let them meet his parents...that usually works. >>;;

It's a natural parental instinct. They obviously don't want you to get hurt if he doesn't feel the same way about you. Of course, they are being way overprotective. They shouldn't mess with your personal life. It's your life, live it the way you want to.
And don't take it out on me. D;

Edgar The Fanciful It's a natural parental instinct. They obviously don't want you to get hurt if he doesn't feel the same way about you. Of course, they are being way overprotective. They shouldn't mess with your personal life. It's your life, live it the way you want to.
And don't take it out on me. D; That is actually very true, but parents are such ignorant pests these days, they always meddle into our personal lives. What I would do, is to tell them that this is my life and that I want to live it my way. I don't want them controlling everything and deciding everything for me.
And if she doesn't, I'LL take it out on you. :3

Famous Quote time:
"When I was fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty one, It suprised me to see how much knowledge the old man had gained in seven years."
-Mark Twain.
You never know when your parents are right.
But I see in this case that the way you have described this person they are most likely wrong. Just take into consideration that they might be right sometimes.

Well yeah, but he's my friend. I don't really care if he "stalks" me. If I need to, I'll kick him somewhere he doesn't want me to. But yeah, I'll take that into consideration.

XP No, I still have to slap him though. The problem with kicking a guy it that area is that usually they fall to the floor screaming bloody hell or something like that. But if he really pisses me off, I will really kick him there

ok... do not obsess too much but er, this is an awkward situation.... well, your parents are completely convinced that u should like avoid this person, so i guess you could talk to him in private, if he likes talking to you that is
cuz i had problems, BOY problems, and i ended up relle hurting myself becuase i realized that he just didn't like talking to me and that I'm just plain hopless....BUT! ure not
so talk to him, defintely, try working out something with him and i like kicking better than slapping
