Good episode, not fantastic since it was obviously written to hook on GG viewers, but I think from here we will be getting full on intense VM.
So glad Veronica is embracing her detectiveness and not trying that normal thing like she did in the start of last season. She was very much the Veronica I love. And the stylists seem to have found how to make her long hair work.
I loved Mac. It seems like she's got a little more bitter and snarkier but still adorable.
I liked Parker alright, she was cute. I loved the actress playing her. The scene where she discovers what happened to her was perfect.
I loved seeing Wallace all happy again, and not chasing Jackie kind of annoyingly.
d**k was exactly where I believed he would be after all of this. It's like he didn't realize how much he loved Beaver until now. He was never the model brother, but he was always taking Beaver with him everywhere. Ryan Hansen nailed it all too.
Things I was kind of meh on:
The whole Keith/Cormac/Kendall was confusing and boring. Lame follow up to the cliff hanger. And being shot off screen after that boring resolution to her plot is not how Charisma Carpenter deserved to go.
I hope they'll clear this up in a much more engaging way. I actually liked the whole Fitzpatrick stuff last season and don't mind if they continue it, but this just felt so off and didn't make that much sense.
Logan seemed to have been watered down to just Veronica's boyfriend. Where's the complicated layered loveable jerk/woobie and who is this broody calm shmoopy guy holding Veronica's hand? Maybe he's taking Duncan's medication.I still liked his scenes, but a lot of them felt like they were missing the Logan wit and intensity.
The way they made the Piz crush on Veronica so obvious. I can't see Veronica with him, and if she was it would never last long. But the way they have this set up to new viewers is that they're the IT couple. I'd also like Piz to become his own character before they go all love interest.

I
heart Piz. He is awsome. Although I think that him and Mac would make a better couple than Veronica. Piz is just not the kind of boy Veronica goes for.
That's what I was thinking too. I think Veronica would be bored with Piz, but I could definately see him with Mac. I liked him except for his fake racist joke. It just didn't sit with me well.
