A deep yawn came from Athrun's muzzle as he lounged on the large boulder in te middle of the savannah. He could tell that he was all alone that night, or at least could sense that he was. No where around him was his energy net wavering, so no one had stepped in it as of late.
Flicking the feathers of one wing against the ground where they touched, the god of loneliness dropped his head to the boulder and heaved a sigh of content. Despite his love of his children and mate, Athrun was so used to being alone, that sometimes it was nice to simply relax and curl up in his own realm contently.
The stars above him were shimmering, in a way reminding him of what he'd seen so many years ago when he'd seen his first night.
Curious for a moment, the god pulled up the edge of his blindfold up and winced from the light shimmering from the stars, his eyes were so un-adjusted to it that it was like staring into the sun. Sighing angrilly he dropped the blindfold over his eyes again tiredly.

Ifuifu'eneo lay in the tall grass. His grey tail thumped against the ground as he yawned. The small pup rose to his feet, stretching before opening his quite large jaws in another yawn. He rolled his shoulders and quickly shook out the particles from his fur. Bright grey fur was always what he wanted. It may not have been the brightest color but he wanted it to shine it's best. The night air was crips and cool around his small body. He was quite the brute when it came to size but he was still cold without the bodies of his siblings. Mom and Dad would be worried if he didn't return soon.
He stalked through the grass and for a moment he thought he saw something. His ears perked up as he moved closer and closer to the sound, nose high. It didn;t smell like anything he knew. his tail tucked between his legs, Ifui continued towards the awkward smeel until he saw a flash of white.
"What...is that?"
He gazed in awe at the sight. a giant white lion stood before him, head raised up to the sky.

Grumbling faintly, Athrun debated for a long moment before pulling the bandanna up and off of his face, blinking his sky blue eyes rapidly as he winced again in pain. It had been a hundred some odd years since he'd seen the world with his eyes.
Sighing, slowly the world came into view and he jerked back a little in shock as he saw blood flowing all over the ground. Torrents of it, death was everwhere; grass was brown and curled, trees were wilting, animals appeared as rotting corpses.
A yelp worked it's way from Athrun's muzzle and he swished his blindfold over his eyes again, shivering as he fell off of the boulder with a thump and a loud crack, one of his wings snapping on impact. Breathing deeply, the god held a paw over his eyes and softly told himself never again.

Ifui was stuck to his spot. It had wings and strange designs that adorned it's pelt. A lion of some sort? No. I couldn't have been. Lions didn't have wings. Of course Eneo wouldn;t have known what lions truely were. His mother had told him all he needed to know about the large somewhat vicious creatures. He knew that his parents would have mentioned wings...wouldn't they? Bright green eyes peered through the darkness at the spectacle before him. It was so dark but it was if he could see the large image perfectly.
Then the blinfold was removed. Eneo starred at sky blue eyes and reddness that came from them. He wasn;t sure what he was seeing but he knew it wasn't a pleasent thing. He sat badck on gray haunches and watched as the world seemed to fall apart in the lion eyes. He turned away, eyes clamped shut, as he heard a sickening crack.
"Are you alright?..." His voice was barely a whisper as he hesitantly opened an eye.

One of his white ears swivvled in the direction of the little grey pup, his head slowly following it so that the Eye of Horus was upon it. Such pups were so small, but he found great amuzement in how it looked away from a god with a broken wing, confusion in the eye that he could see.
It reminded him of Akiiki in a way and of Dumu as well, though Dumu acted tough on the outside sometimes to hide the confusion. This pup seemed a lot like the both of them.
Standing slowly, the large white god straightened out his wing and folded it to his back so it would heal. He figured the pup wouldn't be happy to see a god with a broken wing just sort of there, but he didn't really care all that much, it was just a gesture.
"I'll be alright, don't worry about me pup. Gods heal quickly after all." Athrun said with a gentle smirk.

Eneo hesistantly starred forward at the god. Green eyes widening even more then they had been a few moments ago. A God? No one had ever given him any lessons on gods let alone talked about them. It was in the image of a lion anyway. Why would a dog talk about things that were in the image of lions? His tail tucked between his legs, Eneo crept ever closer to the god. The broken wing almost forgotten as he shifted completely from the tall grass and into the open air.
"A God..."
His small mind couldn't quite grasp the fact that he was standing before lonliness itself. He shifted his weight uncomfortably on his paws as he looked up at the Eye of Horus. Everythiong he saw was new. He didn't want to be hurt but he wanted to get closer. Put himself in harms way because of curiousity. Gray paws drew circles in the dirt and he coughed. "You won't hurt me will you?"

"Yes a god. What, you've never been told of one before?" Athrun said in a quizzical voice, not sure of what to respond with. "Who taught you of what?"
The god simply looked down at the little pup before him, not entirely worried but also onfused as to the pups reaction to him. He'd seen quite a few creatures in his time, some of them young and some of them old, but none of them had ever reacted this way before.
So simply the god reached out with a wing and patted the top of the pups head with the feathers gently, a fatherly chuckle coming from deep in his throat.

Eneo looked at the ground in disbelief. "Um...I'm sorry. Mother and father have never told me about...gods." He had heard something of them but nothing beyond their infinite lifespan. His gaze drifted up to the white thing, or god, before him. His tail swatted against his back legs, ears swivelling at all the sounds. His young mind couldn't quite grasp the thought of a higher being and his mind hadn;t been plugged with fairytales from his parents or others.
"What are you doing down here?...I mean...um..."
He didn't know how to put his thoughts in words. Why would a supposed god be doing down among them? Didn't they live forever or something? He didn;t really need to be on the rock in from of him.

"I'm down here because I live down here. Though I'm going to go ahead and assume by down here you mean on earth." His wing reached out and ruffled the little wild dog's fur on the top of his head again. It was rare that he met a pup, least of all one that asked him why he was down here.
Standing up, the old god stretched out both of his wings and looked around before picking up the little thing and dropping him off on the top of the boulder he'd just fallen from in a matter of seconds. It was simple, Athrun was large enough that a small motion seemed to be insanely quick. Laying down beside the little pup, he stretched out his long legs and settled his head on his front legs softly.
"So what's your name pup?" Athrun asked him gently in his fatherly voice.
