Arrighty, m'dears. When all else fails, post here about anything that you so desire. Providing translations of your posts in a conlang (or a real language) gets you happy points. GO!

Second post, baby! domokun
You know it's funny, I hated history classes in school, but my independent history studies are fascinating as hell - especially learning the etymology of the days of the week. mrgreen You can tell I have fun conlanging days of the week to meet the naming of the ancient gods.

I want to do unschooling.I think we’d learn a heck of a lot more that way than the way our mom has us do things.

I have a font-creator that I used to duplicate the Elder Fuþark runic alphabet. Thing is I dunno how to make it an actual font so that I can use the keys to type them out, so... anyone think the runic alphabet works for a conlang? (the two isolated runes are ones I made myself to make up for the abscence of what I think are essential sounds)

I wish I could help, but I have no idea sad
On a side note, I'm trying a different method of conlanging. I'm not going verb-crazy for once. I'll post what I've got eventually.

Ditto.
That and the fact that I'm not allowed on the computer often (I'm not allowed on right now, but that's a different story) makes it so I don't get here nearly enough.

I've got to write a paper (a "real" paper; as in to be published--the due dates are spread out for each section so that it takes a whole semester to write, and I've already missed 3 deadlines), put together an oral presentation in Spanish (I'm Spain, and I have to do the news, but I don't know who these people are or why they matter x.x), and do all my homework and tests and quizzes. I have a spanish test today x.x

A font maker? Awesome! I want that! It's called Pixel Font. You actually draw the characters. If I only knew how to make it a font file that can read so that they can be typed with keys... I guess that part would be something fit for a programmer.

Who said they're busy!? mad
Let me just say that my best friend's birthday was TWO WEEKS ago and I still haven't found the time to go buy a present.
Yesterday right after getting home from school my mom, sister, and I rushed out the door. We drove down to Fargo (a four hour drive) so that my mom could go with my dad who is a truck driver heading for Oregon. So this morning as soon as I woke up my sister and I rushed back home where I barely made it to my first class.
Immediately after my classes I had to go to the bus station and pick up a parcel for my parents. Only then was it that I realized that although I shooed my sister onto a bus that'd get her home instead of her hanging around the university, I never gave her the keys. gonk
