I totally might be losing it, but who else saw Zuko flash lightning during the fight with Jet? When the slow motion scene came on, and Zuko chopped off Jet's stalk of straw?

I wondered if that was lightning, or if it was just the after-slash of the sword? (sometimes they like to show that for special effects)
Or maybe it was white fire that burned with the intensity of Zuko's hate?

I'm voting "speed of the sword." Doing that adds to the effect of the fight.
Plus wouldn't Jet have shouted something about it during the fight?

Zuko can't even do lightning yet. And if he could, he wouldn't be able to have that much control of it already. It was just special effects. Gosh! stressed

I just thought of something.
The fight scene was during the night, right? If it was lightning, wouldn't Jet's face have lightened up a little?

It was just the after flash thing...special effects. You see it all the time in anime...
Anyway, I'd just like to go ahead with my fangirlness and say:

I do not think it was lighting either. Hopefully, Zuko will learn how to use lightning soon.
