Myoa trotted around happily. It was a beautiful day out, with a light breeze tickling her mane and a few light, puffy clouds in the sky. She was carefree and content, and more appreciative of life ever since she had met Degewi. The young wind mare debated going for a flight, but decided not to. It was always beautiful in the sky, so Myoa decided to spend the lovely afternoon on the ground.

Kimi spotted a sparkly green mare standing a few yards away from her. Kimi walked towards the mare and smiled. "Hello," said Kimi. "What's your name?"

Myoa smiled back at the striped navy mare. "Hello, I'm Myoa, and yourself?" She answered.
Myoa could tell the mare had just recently reached adulthood. She walked gently, almost carefully, as if getting used to her new body. Her eyes also had the air of a foal, something that made Myoa smile.

"My name is Kimi," said Kimi. Kimi noticed that Myoa was smiling at her. Kimi smiled back akwardly. She then began to laugh, but tried holding it in, so it came out as a snort. Kimi then blushed in embarassment.

Myoa replied, "Nice to meet you, Kimi!" She laughed gently with Kimi. "You shouldn't be ashamed of laughing, nor try to hold it in. It's a wonderous thing, a laugh." She coached gently, still smiling.

Kimi blinked at Myoa, confused, thinking the Soquili is strange. "Yeah, uh-huh," said Kimi, nodding akwardly. Kimi felt she was coming off a bit mean, but she didn't mean to be. Kimi thought why this Soquili was so....happy. Then, Kimi thought of an answer. Myoa must be in love. Myoa is acting the same way Randee is when she's thinking of Unesdala.

Myoa inwardly blushed. Kimi was pretty sharp, it looked like she had aready figured out her little secret. Oh well. Perhaps the mare would fine a stallion herself one day. "So, how are you?"

"I'm doing great," said Kimi. "I've just moved out away from my family and living on my own. It's such a wonderful feeling." Kimi smiled. She loved being an adult and being as free as she wants.

Myoa nodded, remembering her own childhood. Her father constantly abused her mother and herself, and one day beat her mother to death. She fled him soon after that. Myoa had still be a foal when she ran away, and remembered the difficulties of surviving all too clearly.
"You like the independance, don't you?" She understood the feeling. The freedom was nice. "Do you miss you family?" Myoa inquired.

"I love the independence. Do I miss my family? Hrm, not too much," said Kimi with a light laugh. "I've been with them my entire life. I've been waiting so long to be on my own, so I don't really think about it too much. When I do feel I want to see them, I can always return to visit them in the mountains."

She laughed gently as well. "That's right sensible. Although, I'm sure your parents miss you. Remember to visit often, I'm sure they worry." She giggled, surprised at herself. She had never expected something like that to pop out of her mouth.

"I visit when I can," said Kimi with a nod. "My mother is worried even when I'm around, so it wouldn't be unlike her to be worried. My father probably doesn't even notice I'm gone. He's pretty oblivious." Kimi then broke out into laughter.

Myoa snorted. "So was my father. That abusive brute!" She shook her mane, telling herself to get a grip. What's done was done, so be it. Myoa couldn't change the past, no matter what she wanted. "How would you feel for a run?" She asked. Truthfully, she was getting restless. She didn't want bad memories clouding a beautiful day.
