(Please keep this clean. Do NOT kill off other peoples characters unless you have permission. If you have questions that relate to the story, please try to PM that person. I want to keep this thread mostly story, if possible. But most of all... have fun and kill as many random humans as you wish!)
Long agao the world was filled with dragons. A dragon could walk down the street and be welcomed. Everyone came to know the dragon as a peaceful creature, but one day all that changed.
Humans began to kill dragons for their own selfish reasons. Soon dragons became scarce and the few remaining went into hiding.
Years later, few have begun to reappear. Some fight to kill the humans who killed their brethren. Others have fogiven this generation of humans and are trying to start again. Still, others fight for a cause all their own.
Where do you stand?
Are you with the humans or against them?
Or are you just taking matters into your own hands?
(Oh! You don't have to tell where you stand either. Let us figure it out on our own!)

Terk opened her eyes as the sun warmed her scales. The air was cold, but she didn't mind. It was quiet in the little grove of trees she had made home for the night. Standing and stretching, Terk returned to her human form.
She was well built, being a warrior of her Clan, but that didn't matter any more. She was the last or her kind. The only Shadow Dragon left.
Placing her hand on her sword, she walked through the trees, looking for somebody, anybody who was brave enough to cross her path.

Amara decides upon humans when she meets them! Some she likes, others she kills on the spot! She is very up front and blunt, telling everyone what she thinks and doesn't care how you feel about it! She travels usually by herself and cloaked in black. Her sword goes on her back, and her transforming crystal around her neck! She is a dragon, in human form, but goes under the radar!

The day seemed unusually still as she walked towards the nearest town. Maybe she would find some one there, or maybe she would find some information about the world as it was today.
Looking to her spiked wrist gaurd, she focused on the white scale welded into place. Humans had killed her mate. Killed him with the blood of another dragon.

People stirred inside the inn, but only a little. They knew what she was, only by rumors of course. They were scared, but none said anything out of line, or disrespectful! The door swung open, ;letting the sun light in...It blinded her! She couldn't see who came in, until they sat down with her.

Terk crested the top of a small hill. Below her was a town. The wind blew towards her and she snorted. The sent on dragons was strong. There were some in town.
But, she thought to herself. Are they walking free or are they being held captive?

*Madam, we have heard rumors that you are a dragon. Will you please come with us!*
Two men stood over the table, and watched Amara. She never looked at them, she only watched her drink. People stood and watched what was happening.
*I am no dragon, and no I will not come with you.* Amara knew what they did to dragons they captured. Held them in chains and killed them, they were an endangered species. * However, I have heard the rumors. People think anyone who they don't know and who doesn't show themselves clearly are a dragon. I am not, but a warrior of old.*

The armored man took his drink from the bar and sat down.
*I'm afraid I'm new in town, and don't know anyone. I'm passing through on... buisness of a sort. * The man looks cautiously at the womans face.
*My name is Brazen AiRonyo Sigilos, but you can call me Sigilos, if you wish. May I ask, what was it those two were looking for?*

As Terk walked down the hill, her hair and eyes changed from a purple to black. The gaurd at the gate stopped her. "Who are you and what do you want?"
"My name is Kina." Terk didn't hesitate. That was the human name she gave people so they would leave her alone. "And my business is my own."
The gaurd motioned to her weapons. "I'll have to take theose blades from you, Kina." There was a small smile on his face. "They look to be of good quality."
"Excillent if you must know. And I will be keeping them. I go no where without them. Can you blame me?"
No, actually," The gaurd shook his head. "There's a rumor that a dragon is in town actually. But," He waved a finger at her. "If I find that you've used them. You'll be in jail faster than you know. Understood?"
"Perfectly." Terk nodded and walked into town. The streets were full and buzzing with the rumor of a dragon. People paid no atention to her, which was fine. She walked past, blending into the shadows. It was a natural act for her and she didn't even realize she was doing it.
Rounding a corner, she saw two men leave a bar, grumbling about some one being a dragon inside. Terk stopped. Did she dare go in? What if it was one of those who helped the humans?
Continuing on, Terk came across a barn. This was her goal. It was a large barn and the smell of dragons was strong. Inside she could hear chains clinking and the low rumble of growls. Someone was in there. "I will return."
She spoke out loud to the air. Taking a deep breath, Terk turned back the way she came and decided to enter the bar. She was goin to need to eat something before nightfiall if she wanted to carry out her mission.

*So let me get this straight. These peolpe hunt Dragons, for sport, pleasure, fear, whatever. Then they chain them and kill them?*
*That's about it,* said the woman.
At that moment, a someone else entered the bar.
Sigilos knew she was warrior, simply by looking. She blended with the shadows, and the regular patrons had a hard time seeing her. His eyes were not like theirs, however, and he saw the weapons and the muscles as if she stood in daylight.
*You look hungry, stranger. Please, join us, eat. Perhaps you can help.*

Terk looked at the man who spoke to her. Then he looked to the woman sitting with him. "I am hungry," She said.
She sat at the table after ordering something from the bar. "My name is Kina. You?"

Sigilos lowered his voice until only his companions could hear.
