There was a cold chill in the air as the oceanic mare left her two-leggers tent. It sent chills down her spine making her shiver and in result the beads on her bracelets jingeled. She smiled at the noise as it cut through the still air and began to prance around like a spring pony filling the area with her own music.
Her ear flicked to the side as she heard something stirring from inside one of the larger homes. She decided it would be best to take her leave, or else get yelled at.

Soaring down from the sky, Axel had decided to pay a visit to the teepee. He didn't really... live there but he came there from time to time to talk with Chitsa. She seemed to be the other mare that could deal with his cold personality. As his hooves touched the ground, Axel snorted and tucked his wings in towards his body.
The stallion walked around looking for the familiar teepee. Axel yawned lazily and continued to look around.

Lunathiel could see the lake just on the horizon. She grinned, nickered happily, then bolted to the almost completely still body of water. She was only a few feet away when she leapt into the air, tucked her legs in, and took the plunge into the frigid water. She surfaced with wide eyes taking in deep gulps of air. "H-h-ho-holy c-c-c-c-c-cow..."She stammered paddeling toward the edge. The water had been several times colder then she had anticipated. "S-s-s-s-sooo c-c-c-cold!"

Raising a brow, Axel heard something jump into the lake nearby. He walked over towards the edge of the lake and looked out at the mare. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Autumn was coming, so the weather was getting colder. He just stood there watching the mare with his calculating green eyes. Axel wondered when she'd see him standing there.

Still shaking fiercly she clambered out of the lake and simply collapsed on the bank. She blinked as her head hit something hard. For a moment she thought it was a rock so she moved and she lay on something identical in shape. 'This is getting ridiculous...' She thought getting to her feet in a huff to remove the rocks. She kicked at the annoyances without thinking and froze as she found her self kicking at another horse's hooves. "I am so sorry!" She gasped horrified backing away.

Axel watched the mare with slight curiousity. She was rather... humorous looking as she was climbing onto the bank. When she kicked at his hooves he just stared at her. What did she just do? He said nothing but stared at her with glassy eyes. "What were you doing?" He didn't even bother to say, 'It's okay.' Or something like that. He just continued to stare at her with his emotionless green eyes.

"I uh...."She stammered meeting his eyes. She had never been scared of a wind before, but he was terrifying her. "I thought you...welll...your hooves that is...were ummmm....rocks?" She cringed pulling her head back over her shoulder as if expecting to get beat for that. And shouldn't she? After all, she had mistaken him for a rock. A rock of all things, that was like being called dirt in her view.

Hm. Wow, that was an interesting answer. She was intriguing at least. Not boring like some other soquili he could name... "I mean." He paused, "Were you trying to... swim or something?" Axel glanced at her with disdain. He couldn't swim, but he didn't care. He'd rather know how to fly anyway. Tossing his mane once more, the brilliant fiery red hair gleamed in the sunlight.

"Swim...swim? Ah..." Her gaze shifted to the lake trying to ignore the dripping forelocks halfway blocking her veiw. "Yeah...I thought the water would be warmer..." She gave him a sheepish smile. For some reason he was making her nervous, was it the strange energy about him? She turned to look at him better but her hair made everything hard to see. Her eyes closed tightly and she planted her feet before shaking her head. The movement sent water droplets everywhere but it got her hair out of her eyes.
