 Lunathiel lay in the soft sands watching the waves roll in and out. It was a pleasent day, the sun was shining gently over the lands warming the ground and her light coat. She let out a content sigh before laying her muzzle in the sands just far enough away from the water to keep a little dry. It was a perfect day for relaxing, no annoying Racoon pestering her, no work to be done, just time to rest.

 Vevina had gone to the ocean wondering if... perhaps Kasida was there her heart still wanted to see him again although he had just left her... She gave a sad sigh knowing she was running on false hopes. Vevina shoved them out of her mind and continued to the ocean when she noticed a sky blue soquili basking in the sand. The sun warmed her as she walked it was so much warmer here than in the northern forests she liked it she smiled at the sun then turned back to the blue mare "Hello!" she said cheerfully.

Stunning crystaline eyes snapped open as she heard someone calling out. Was it to her? She lifted her head and looked about, finding that there was only one other horse there it was indeed speaking to her. "Ah, hi!" She called back cheerfully. She studied the other mare closely. Her energy seemed pleasent enough, clearly she was some kind of friend, or at least she wasn't a threat.

Vevina bound over to the other mare as though she was a foal once more. "I am Vevina" she smiled happilly "Whats your name?" she said looking out to the ocean, The mares color reminded Vevina of the sky. Vevina turned her head back to the other mare. "Pleasant after noon isn't it." she said trying to spark conversation. Vevina flicked her small tail to and fro. A light breeze played around the beach.

"Lunathiel..." she responded not bothering to get to her feet as was polite, she was comfortable where she was. She did, however, bow her head and turn a bit to face the patchy mare better. "Yes it is..." She turned her head to the side a bit. Conversations, what she was worst at and at the same time it was all anyone ever wanted to do. "The sand...it's uh...warm...nice to lay in..." Mentally she hit herself, next time she should just keep her mouth shut.

Vevina just smiled and bowed her head in return politely "Are you alone?" Vevina asked curiously, not minding she stuttered. "Thats good." Vevina said cheerfully She layed down next to the other mare guessing she had been comfortable "I am sorry I seemed to have disturbed you." Vevina said trying to make the other mare feel more comfortable with her around.

"Yeah..." She mumbled in response to the first question not realizing that other things had been said as the mare was taking to the ground beside her. She looked at the other and smiled slightly, it was nice to have some company that wasn't just going to pester her as Bandit did. "So what brings you here...?"

Vevina watched as the other mare sat back down and she smiled "Well you arn't alone anymore" vevina said cheerfully "Oh just wandering around, actually I was looking for some one, a wind soquili you didn't happen to see any fly by did you?" she asked her ears raised intently.

Lunathiel looked up biting on her tongue as she searched her memory. She had seen a couple of wild flutters that day but not a single wind. She shook her head slowly as she lowered her gaze to meet the amber eyes of Vevina. "Sorry, not a single one is out it seems...Who were you looking for though? Maybe I can help you find them..."

"Ah thats ok I guess" she gave a smile "It's not important Really" Veivna said pain hidden in the back of her mind. "Your markings are lovely, Who are you parents?" Vevina asked curiously the markings did indeed intruigue her she was only gray after all no colorful like Lovebeam or Luthaniel.

"Ah well..."Her gaze fell to the ground. She didn't really like speaking about her parents, they had both left her. "My mom was an alicorn...my dad a normal horse like me. I don't really remember in detail what they looked like." She shot the other a look that clearly read, 'change the subject...NOW'. Luna felt she had been kind enough for telling the female a basic description but the family conversation had to be put to an end.

"Oh," Vevina said "I didn't know it was a sensitive subject for you." she said feeling bad all of a sudden, she just wanted to talk. "I never ment to bother you." Vevina went quiet and decided to let luntari choose the next subject, she really didn't like reciving the look although she didn't mention anything about it.

"It's fine." She said shortly giving a casual toss of her head as if that would make it just go away. "It's just..."Her gaze shifted to the parting waves imagining her parents figures dancing in the turf. She blinked shaking her head to check that it was only an illusion and once she was sure she turned back. "...it's been a long time..." She gave a slight smile trying hard to think of something to say, she decided to settle on the clasic, "Nice weather...isn't it?" forgetting it had already been said.

"It will be ok, anyway I am sorry " Vevina silence fell between the two "Yeah nice weather indeed." Vevina said breaking the silence again, she didn't care it had already been said Vevina just smiled at the sky colored mare. "Want a friend?" vevina asked

A delicate blue brow arched at the confusing spotted mare. It was the first time anyone had flat out asked to be a friend. She looked at her strangely then shrugged. Well what could it hurt? "Uh...sure...ummm..." She paused once again. What could be said now? "Do you...want to...uh...do something?"
