Welcome everyone! Have you ever wanted to meet with other members who shared a liking to your favorite OTP (one true pairing) of CloudxAerith? Or perhaps chat with fellow CloudxTifa 'shippers about the latest and most well done fanfic for said pairing? Or perhaps you just want to see if anyone else besides yourself likes BarretxCid?
Fear not, members of the guild, for this is the place for you! xd The Honeybee Inn is a place where you can discuss any kind of pairing you like, be it yaoi, yuri, or het. It's fun discussing who might be with who, who'd look cute together, and what the characters might 'secretly' be thinking or feeling for one another. So whether you fancy some TsengxElena or TsengxRufus or even some far out pairing like BarretxShinra, feel free to come on over and chat with others about it. biggrin
However, all guild rules and the Gaia T.O.S. apply. Particular ones that will be enforced here are listed below. Take the ones listed here to heart, so that we can keep this place fun and clean.
1.) NO FLAMING. If you do not like homosexual couples, then do not go into a yaoi or yuri thread and say "Eew Sephiroth's not f**king gay you homos" or anything hateful like that. If you do not like CloudxYuffie as a pairing, then do not get your panties in a bunch and post rude comments that put down not only the pairing, but those who like it as well. Such comments will get you a single warning, and a second offense will get you banned. We shouldn't have to warn you more than once, because this is simply common sense. If you do not like the pairing or what the pairing entails, then DO NOT GO TO THE THREAD. I myself have an extremely low tolerance for these kinds of offenders, so do not let yourself fall to this level.
If anybody is caught trolling (purposefully going about causing trouble to others because they find it 'fun'), then they shall be dealt with severely. Trolling is hurtful, stupid, and a waste of not only the member's time, but the moderator's time as well.
2.) NO CHARACTER OR PAIRING BASHING. It is perfectly fine to like a character, just as much as it is to NOT like a character. However, if you do not like a character that is involved in a particular pairing, please do NOT go posting why you hate this character, why this character sucks, and all that jazz. If you dislike a character, then do not refer to them as "That b***h" or "That a*****e," since it does little to prove any sort of point you may have. You can simply say you dislike the character for your own personal reasons and leave it at that, and if someone keeps asking you WHY, then just PM them, or tell them to PM you.
This also applies to different pairings. Not everyone is going to like the same pairing, and if you can intelligently express your dislike for the pairing, then that's okay. However, going about and saying "Cloti could nevah happen becuz Tifa's a Ho and Cloudz wit hAeries!" or "Cleris is stupid cuz Tiffa and Clod were childhood friends!" will get you a reprimand. If you are going to post any pictures, keep it friendly, and don't demean another pairing. It makes your pairing and it's supporters look stupid if you do that, because it's the sort of thing a child would do (like drawing a crude picture making fun of a classmate or teacher they are not particularly fond of).
3.) STAY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. If you can't say anything nice to someone, then don't say anything at all. If you disagree with someone, then either post with your own opinion on the matter (preferrably in an intelligent manner) or keep it to yourself. The world is full of people who won't agree with you, and if there weren't any of those kinds of people, life would be rather dull. Try to see things from their view, and you might learn something new. You may learn to even like a pairing you never even considered before, or decide that you don't like another pairing as much as you originally thought. It can help you understand why some people see a pairing the way they do.
4.) Have fun! This is the most important part. Post links to fanfics for your pairing, or write some of your own! Show others your fanart that you drew as a tribute to your favorite pairing, or just chat with others about the things you like (and dislike) about the pairing. Have fun nitpicking cliche' plot devices, while thinking up new and original ones!
If anybody experiences any problems here, or has any questions or concerns regarding anything in this subforum (has this pairing already been done, someone said this to me, etc...), then feel free to PM a moderator, be it myself or another active mod, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
EDIT: Also, to lessen confusion a bit regarding threads. We have, thus far, two types of threads. The kind where folks who like a pairing can get together and just chat about it, and another where you can debate about it. Debating and chatting are two different things, so if a thread's creator says that it's just for chatting, then please do not debate in there (at least not heavily). For really deep, involving discussions on the mechanics of a pairing, choose a debate thread like the "Who did Cloud really love?" thread. Just remember to play nice. razz

I hope we can be civil enough to discuss pairings besides romantic ones. I would love to discuss my opinions on the family bonds I think Cloud and Tifa had without being labelled anti-Tifa for thinking they weren't romantically involved; when I love the character of Tifa. Or being interrupted with, "Cleris rules!"
