So, on Thursday, I hopped onto the bus to get to school.
Turned on my Gameboy and played Yugioh Dark Duel Stories.
Only one problem.
My data, pride and joy, was gone.
I tried to make a new game.
I was brought back to the "Insert Duel Name" thing.
After the second try, I look in the records......
"Duel name: PPPPPPP
Link Battles: 6682 Wins: 6682
Blah blah duelists:6682 Wins: 6682"
The 'Deck' was full of nothing but "Laughinghead Hippogriffs", but I had every single card in my chest.
I turned the game off.
I tried to make a new game using the name AAAAAA, which worked.
But I was still intruiged by what heppened with this "Glitch deck".
It destroied my save file. D:
Sooo....Does anyone have any clue what happened to my Yugioh Dark Duel Stories game?
Am I sad for still playing that game?

I have never heard of a GB game glitching in a bad way. I own that game, and I loves it even now. My deck is all elves and dark/light elements. smile

I've never played Yugioh on Gameboy, but I've had a similar thing happen to my Pokemon red on GBC where it just refused to keep any save files. I called the costomer support or whatever on the box and they had me send it back to Nintendo and they mailed me a replacement.

I didn't know there was a GBA YuGiOh. Maybe I'll try it. Good luck figuring out what happened. I think that happened to my pokemon blue. I had all 151 pokemon too. cry

One of my DS games did that to me...
but I just took out the game and put it back in and it was fine.

hmmm, thats a first...my Yugiho GBC game still works perfectly...i've never had that trouble...im not to sure

That's never happened to me on any game I've ever owned.
Not on any of my Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, or anything for that matter.
I wonder what happened.

Their brother traded them a virus pokemon so at least there was an apparent reason for that one.
