Jen stirred as the plane pulled into the New York City airport. She smiled slightly, glad to be home. She'd gotten so used to San Fransisco in the short amount of time she'd been there it was so odd being back. She walked out of the airport and went back to her house. It was about 1 pm in San Fransisco so she decided to call Dan.

Jen sighed and walked out onto her balcolny. She had long since hung up the phone, and she was waiting for her friends to arrive to chat. She wasn't sure what she was going to tell them, but she knew she had a valid excuse.

After Jen hung up the phone, she realized what she did. Damn it I'm running away from my problems again. She thought, rolling her eyes. Her friends had come and gone. She'd told them she went to San Fransisco for her mom's funeral, and decided to take a vacation while she was there. They accepted it, but were a little different then usual.

For a year, she stayed in New York, catching up with friends, and even continuing with her education. She graduated as ValidVictorian of her highschool class, which had thrown her off track, because of demon fighting, and even met a few new people. Ethan, Micheal, and Jessica all became her friends from school, and her life seemed to be normal for a graduate out of High School. She'd been accepted to San Francisco State University, which would be taking her back to San Francisco, where she would have to face Matt at the very least, possibly even Dan.
Jen packed up her stuff and prepared for orientation as a student. She smiled inwardly as she looked at a picture of Ethan and Jessica, who'd been dating for about a year, and then another picture of her and Micheal, who'd went to their prom together. Micheal even planned on attending the same university, which meant returning to San Francisco with a friend, and coping with Magic. She came across another picture of Matt, Dan and her. She realized her two lives were about to collide, and she hoped she could handle it.
About an hour later, Micheal picked her up and they drove to the airport together.

Almost immediately after starting at Diamond Productions, Austin was offered a part in a movie and flew out to New York to begin shooting.

Austin teleported himself into New York and walked to the movie set. Thoughts of what had just happened were gushing through his head. He didnt know how on earth he was supposed to concentrate at work. In fact, he had no idea why he was even going to work. He never liked acting, and had no idea why he had gotten into it. Something weird was going on.

Alyssa was fired from her role in the movie and replaced with another actress. Without the financial support of Diamond Productions, she was also kicked out of her apartment, and put on the streets.

Brook appeared outside the gate. "Yes, I'm an old friend of Austin's." She told security, so tempted just to become invisible and sneak through.
The head of security paged Austin to see if he should allow Brook's entry.

Alyssa walked down the busy streets of New York. She was told that her relationship with Austin was the reason she was fired, that it was a distraction, and if she tried to talk to him while the movie was still being shot, he would be fired as well. She had to move on... and find somewhere to move in. "Being homeless sucks."

Brook walked into the room where she told Austin was. She smiled a bit. It was empty, besides Austin. "Hey. I didn't want to orb in. I didn't know what you were doing or who you were with." She told him, as if reading his thoughts.

"That was probably a smart idea." He smiled back. He still had all the feelings he had for her before he died. "So, uh... you needed to see me?"

"Yea." She told him, refering to the fact that it was a smart idea and that she needed to see him. "Actually, I was hoping to get some help from you, when it came to my neice who's here from the future and a demon that is after her, who's also here from the future." She said, only after closing the door. "I understand you've got work and Alyssa, so if you don't want to help, that's fine." She added, with a weak smile.

Austin almost jumped forward, but controlled himself. "No, thats fine... I dont mind helping a bit." He hadnt even noticed Alyssa had been fired, and almost didnt care. He felt as if the life he lead when he had lost his memory almost didnt count. It was strange, but he still missed his old life.
