Mmkay, so I just went to my mall...and they're selling PGSM DVDs! There's subs, but they're imported from Japan.

But they're like, $27.99 for one though. gonk

I'm wondering, do you think it's worth my money? Because I think you only get ike, 4 episodes on one or so.

Well, first things first. If they are subbed, they are bootlegs. Make sure you have no moral objections to that.

If it was me, I would be checking the episode count - it should be on the back somewhere, and finding out if there is a time stamp, because that bugs the hell out of me.

Chances are that there will be more than 4 episodes on the disc, because that is how bootlegs work.

And just for reference - the legit PGSM DVDs from Japan will run you about 6000 yen - which works out to around $55 USD. That is for 4 episodes.

I'm pretty sure they aren't bootleg, since most of them are like the ones on youtube, they were playing it in the store though. I'm not entirely sure though, but that's for the warning. 3nodding

There is no license for it in North America, and since it is subtitled, that means that it has to be a bootleg. How could it not be?

Another obvious bootleg characteristic is region free DVDs, or region zero. Not always, but usually.

And finally, the timestamp. If the time is appearing in the upper left corner, it's a boot.

I have the Korean version... where it was subtitled into Chinese and then into English. No time stamp, but the translation is off due to English being the third translated language.

Yeah, it's bootleg, and in Japantown in San Fransisco, the entire season is about $80.00...@.@

I say I don't know because I haven't seen them up close, because they were in a glass case, underneath other DVDs sweatdrop and I haven't bought them or anything, and I did see it playing a while a go, almost a year ago.

E Bay sells the entire season for around 20 bucks give or take 10...I figure they have to be bootlegs...which I don't mind...I just dunno how well they'll play or the picture quality -shrug-. Maybe I'll get daring though and try razz . Downloading them myself is taking FOREEEVVVEEEERRRR.
