... two college students (me and a friend) like Avatar? Cause it's basically a kid's show...
Not that I'm embarassed! I was just wondering if people though it was weird.

I'm a college student. I don't find it weird at all. It's an awesome show, and, although it may be aimed for children, it does have maturity in it.^^

Gaspit! How could you think something like that? Honestley, think about it; If you've ever gone to any form of an anime convention, you'd have noticed that thought there are mostly high school students, there's a heck of a lot of college students and adults, too! It's because you have an open mind that you like Avatar, not because you're weird. Most people just think that they're too "grown up" for a childrens' show, but you obviously like it enough not to be embarassed by that. (Go you! *Victory screech*)
And, hey, I'm a sophomore, myself. :3

Wow, there's nothing wrong in that, must agree with everyone else. Besides most of the time, these people that consider themselves "mature" are the first idiots that clown around like fourth graders. It may be animated, but there's a deeper, exciting story, it's not just a cartoon, but a master piece of adventures one would like to relate back to. It's an awesome show. Don't worry about it.

You're not immature if you still like cartoons, it just means you are imaginative and appreciate art. Plus, grown-up humor can get a little bit weird unlike cartoon humor where they stick to the basic things.
You'd be amazed how many classmates of mine actually find Avatar amazing! I thought I was the only one in my batch, but then one word of Avatar then they go: "You watch Avatar too?!" xd

im a college student and i still like avitar! I mean really, just because you watch cartoons does not mean you're immature or a "baby". i still like to watch a lot of shows that are really aimed for children. depending on the plot. lol.

yeah, my dad really likes avatar, and my friends dad is obsessed with it... i dont really think that avatar is such a little kids show... i mean, im 13 and people think i watch a kids show, but seriously... just because its on nickelodeon, with a bunch of kid shows, people shouldnt just jump to conclusions. i hate it when people make untrue statements about avatar...

I'm a senior in high school and I watch it! heart Though, I have to watch the new episdoes on Saturday morning, since I'm usually at a football game on Fridays (band geek, fo' shizzle)

My brother's in college and he likes the show, and I'm always watching it and so is my younger brother. The three of us are always watching it together. There's nothing wrong with Avatar.

Really?? i couldn't get my parents to watch it with me and my little brother. its so sad. my dad doesnt want anything to do with what i watch. he thinks the animes i watch are just kiddie cartoons but i watch something MUCH more mature than that and its an anime. -.- its sad. although my dad doesnt know i watch mature animes lol. doesnt matter because im adult now he cant tell me what i can or cant watch, anymore. xd
