Wow, I think this news definitely makes my day! After over a decade, I can finally see what is perhaps my favorite cartoon of all time.
*skips around the area, tossing daisies and power rings*
So, I wonder if we could expect an AoStH dvd set somewhere down the line. Not that I want to be greedy, but it'd be nice, too. ;p

I just wish that the Sonic X series would come in box sets of whole seasons, rather then crappy littly 3 episode things that one has to pay way too much money for.

Actually, Aaron, you might get your wish on that front...
Apparently, there's this "Sonic X Season 5" dvd set coming out around Halloween time, at least according to the local Suncoast here.
Now, I just wish I knew WHAT this set entailed, as I really don't know what they're counting as a fifth season. Best bet is to just google the heck out of this and see what you get.

...both noting what appears to be the Blue Typhoon in the background, as well as a friend pointing out that, if one were to count "seasons" shown here by 13 episodes each, the actual [first part of] third season would be the dub's fifth.
Of course, the boxart shown there could just be a placeholder, but it's still something to think about.

I heard this on IMDB yesterday. It wasn't until I got the notification from TVShowsOnDVD.com that I was totally convinced that it wasn't a hoax. smile

If SatAM comes out on DVD, I'll get it for sure. That show was "way past "cool". It defined the way I think of Sonic.

Agh, if only I checked this thread a couple days ago <<; ...Not that I have any recent Sonic art on hand myself.
Nice to see a (hopefully) pinned-down release date, though. Now I have something to count down to. :p
Oh, btw, in other Sonic dvd news, the Sonic X "season 5" dvd set is out now. First 13 episodes of what's technically the 3rd season....Still debating whether or not to get it. On one hand, it's Sonic...on the other...it's 4Kids...

yea, I'll try to buy it... if I can afford it stare what they NEED to do is make another sonic movie, with the same art style from the 98' movie! BEST MOVIE EVER! 4laugh
