Landing within the seemingly deserted lands was a much easier task than landing within the Mistweaver's territory had been, but then again, trees did not invade the landscape here, and only sand, and a far off oasis could be seen. Tell truth, and despite her brother's words, Audilifu could not understand how a pride could prosper within this land. This would've not been a place she would've chosen, but then again, she thought to herself, the place might hold unexpected secrets.

This in mind, the goddess sat down upon the warm sand, her purple gaze scanning the sky for clouds, lingering on the horizon a mere moment before she let out a sigh and fluffed her wings out. Unlike many other gods, Ushaufu included, Dili had never liked to hide her truth appearance, not even from mortals, and thus was why her wings remain in plain sight; had anyone walked nearby, the strangely pink, winged form would've been quite hard to miss indeed.

"Now then," her voice was soft, as if she were talking to a child, even though no one was around, "Where ever could they be? Perhaps I got lost, what you think?" her words were in fact, direct at a small lizard whom just happened to have been passing by her side. The creature raised it's gaze momentarily at her, stuck out it's tongue to taste the air, and was on it's way once more, leaving Truth with a placid smile, staring after it, "That's what I thought," she said softly before her gaze continued to search the horizon. It wasn't long before the lioness was bored of standing still, and thus moved towards the oasis, far away, for perhaps there she'd find both some refreshment and something to occupy her time with; upon reaching the oasis, something else caught her attention, not far off, much more interesting than the water the place offered.

Ruins lay before her eyes, buildings crumbled to the ground, the sand lifting up around the ragged structures as the goddess sat down before them, languidly regarding them, her head cocking to one side as her tail thumped the sand bellow.

Now THIS was interesting. Even if she couldn't find this strange pride, at least her small trip hadn't been for nothing, "Tell me," she spoke to the stone, almost as if convinced it'd talk right back to her, her voice echoing deep within the structure, "What secrets do you hold?"

Perhaps unlukily for the godess of truth, the pride was out hunting, to the south of the old city were lands of green, a grass covered land where his pride hunted and played. So it was that the salmon lord alone occupied the pool area.

When at first he had glimpsed the creature approaching his oasis, he thought perhaps it was a mirrage, the desert could do things to the mind that no lion could truely understand. However, when she stepped on to the old cobbles, he took a deep, partially growl filled breath. Who was this? The scent was unfamiliar. Noone came to HIS oasis without permission.

The honey eyed tyrant stood slowly from his lounging possition showing off, or almost showing off, his dence mucle structure bulging beneath that ark black mane. He had taken two swift steps before he caught sight of the wings and he stopped. A godess? he raised his nose to the winds, yes, there was no other cerature that could smell of nothing and everything all at once. The scent of a god always confised him. He paused for a moment licking his pale lips as he once again started to walk, this time, in a slow, meaningful saunter, those golden eyes fixed squarely upon the strangely coloured femme. "Greetings lady" he whispered, his voice of a low, rasping timbre. "What brings you to my oasis?" He putemphesis on the word MY though that was how he always spoke when he was here, within his own proverbial four walls. The mans oasis belonged to him, he lived here, trained here and one day he had little doubt he would die here.

"I am nyekundu" His eyes roamed the body of the godess for a moment, though he respected the gods, perhaps even feared them, he couldn't help but admire the beauty before him. He licked his lips, yes a delightful sight. "I am lord and master of thois oasis madam, do you come with good intent or simply with malice?" he raised a brow curiosity flashing accross his eyes for a moment. He said no more then, simply deciding if he should fear or welcome this indevidual in to his home, he couldn't help but watch her, she was beautiful, he had a soft spot for beautiful females, damn libido.

Amusingly enough, Audilifu had been much too enthralled with her discovering of the ruins to pay much attention to her surroundings, and thus, it wasn't till Nyekundu spoke that she finally noticed the lion's presence. A single ears flicked to face him, and then slowly so did her head, looking over her shoulder in what might've seemed like an innocent gesture, "Ah, I see..." smiling calmly, the goddess too her time to turn around, her wings never completely folded, held semi open around her as she regarded him.

Tell truth, she had not expected to find anyone, for she'd failed to see signs of the pride Deception had spoken about, however, this was indeed a pleasant surprise. One must not think Audilifu a fool however, she knew quite well how to care for herself, for in all her innocent ways, she was far from it; she was knower of the truths of life, and thus was well prepared to face them. Despite the way the male regarded her however, the goddess merely cocked her head to one side and smiled onward, going as far as to close her eyes briefly before reopening them, "Truth carries no malice, however, I'm afraid it carries no good intent at the moment, merely curiosity has driven it here..." her gaze lifted up to the ruins again, almost as if to accentuate the feel her words had left behind her, "I like to feed my curiosity; I learn the truths of those places I go to. I was following Deception's path."

This said she once more turned to the male and smiled, seemingly un-bothered by the way he kept regarding her; it was something she'd grown used to over time, and though long ago, at first it'd been quite intimidating, she no longer thought it as such, "My name is Audilifu," a pause as she frowned slightly, for even despite she did get similar glances from others, she'd not really come across many mortals whom dare talk to her so easily, knowing whom she was; she'd only come across Kizuka, this male and very few others, "The way that you speak makes me think you've been acquaintances with those of my kin... maybe it is true that War and Chaos dwell nearby..." a pause as she let out a sad sigh, a paw raising to place itself near her cheek, "I wish not to intrude within anything they might claim as their territory... hopefully they shan't be angered with my presence."

Dili had never come to meet either said gods, but she did know they existed, and tales had indeed extended themselves throughout the savanna... it was hard to know which were true and which were not however. Purple gaze once more fell upon the male, her form standing up and nearing him and just barely within reach, yet not quite... the female sat herself down, "Truth should not be feared, that is... unless you have something to hide."

Nyekundu watched the godess for a moment and deemed her safe, at least fro now. he listened to her words, his golden eyes always searching for some glimmer of why exactly she was here. He let it go when she said curiosity, a smirk raising on his pale lips. "Curiosity strikes us all at one time or another Audilifu" He chuckled softly, he was clearly not afraid, hsi stance relaxing even as she sat.

Slowly he let those bunched up muscles relax, and he sat, even pausing to groom his face, after all, he should be clean when talking to a godess. He could be so none challant. He stopped the act after a moment though, his honey glazed gaze once again falling upon the purple beauty before him.

"Indeed these are the lands of the war god Mrost, he and I have an aggreement." He smirked at that, the agreement was fairly simple, Mrost took care of the oasis and Nyekundu trained armys to one day cause the thing he loved most, war.

"I do not fear the truth madam, what have I to fear except for death?" he raised a brow that smug look never changing his dark expression. "You know the truth about me, I am what I am and I will always be that until i die truth." He licked his lips, his tail lashing "since your curiosity braught you here, godess do you wish to see my oasis? My pridal home?" he raised his own, curious brow, he could show the godess his oasis, it would amuse, maybe even please him to gaze at the lavender eyed beauty for a little longer.

The salmon tinted lord chuckled, he never could pass up a pretty face, his ways were ledgendary, what a shame she was a godess, though perhaps his silken tongue would help him along, he doubted she would listen to his carefully spun lies, after all, she would know the truth, right? Still, she was very nice to look at and maybe even long for. There were plenty more females he could take these lusts out on, foolish, he knew, even for him, to long for such a beast, so far out of his reach. Or, maybe not?

A pause, her eyes still on the male, following movements as her wings arched behind her, "Ah, indeed it does; however, curiosity can be dangerous, as much as it can be pleasant," however, at the mention of Mrost, the goddess once more let out a sad sigh, "Oh dear, true it be then, for I see no lie within that statement..." her eyes finally left his to look off into the distance, "I shall not stay too long thus, for I wish not to intrude within His territory. Truth is not always beneficial to War and He was, after all, here first," amusingly enough, the goddess was used to her own way of dissecting actions and thoughts, and thus if a god already happened to be 'playing' with such a land, she was in no place to interfere, for after all, what place was there for truth within war?

As he spoke on, her attention finally returned to him, purple eyes landing on his form, the same smile passing over her maw a the invitation, "Charmed," came the simple reply; Audilifu was no fool, though, she had indeed seen the truth within this one, however, her brother had been quite right. this one was deeply amusing, and well worth the visit.

There was little doubt in her mind as to why War had chosen this place, "Do show me around, I shall like to hear about the place. The wonders of nature please me so," this said, the female stood up, the jewellery she wore tingling ever so slightly before she neared a random tree within the oasis and scratched the top of her horn upon the bark. It took her several seconds of scratching, however, she was soon enough pleased as she lowered her head and the sun practically reflected itself upon the strangely colored bone, "Much better," she said softly, for her horn was treated much like her nails; always sharp and well kept. In fact, her whole pelt looked like she tended to it for many hours a day, contrasting no doubt with that of her brother's green, almost dead looking pelt, "Do show the way, I shall accompany thee," her head bowed slightly in almost a greeting, her ways showing she'd been well taught and well bred. Amusingly enough she did not seem to be speaking with an air of superiority either, but rather, she spoke with fluid simplicity that made her sound as if she were talking to an equal.

However, nothing further from the truth; rather, Dili was like this to all mortals she happened upon, having used such a tone even with Kizuka, whom had growled at her. It was simply within her nature to be calm, pleasant and quite polite unless angered, and even then, the goddess usually retained a large sense of dignity within her actions, "My, my, your gaze, my lord..." a brow arched, a knowing smile coming over the goddess maw, "You look almost as if you wished to eat me right up; I might have to add, doing such a thing would not be proper of a king, now would it?" the brow still remain arched, for there was no doubt the goddess was quite amused. No wonder her brother had sent her here... it was such a pity the territory was taken.

There was Chaos within this land too however, and idly, she wonder where the source was, "You must look ahead, My lord, or you may as well trip with a sand dune..." again the knowing smile, her wings never completely folded upon her back.

The dark maned lord couldn't help but chuckle as she caught his lusting gaze, why should it surprise ehr that he enjoyed the sight of a fema,e any female, if she were beautiful. Certainly he had never come upon a godess before but this one, this one interested, intregued him, he wanted her. Licking his lips he padded around the rich coloured female, brushing hi choulder against her hind leg as he passed. "Come then my Lady, i will show you My world"Once again the emphesis upon the My. Everything here was his. This was after all, HIS pride, HIS homeland.

"You cannot blame me for stareing at such beauty godess. A king may stare at a godess, in reverence, in adoreation. There are things I have done to females, far less beautiful than you." he paused, letting those words sink in slowly. He had no intention of pouncing the goddess, he was a very superstitious lion, still, he couldn't help but lust after the winged beast. She was certainly what dreams were made of, beauty and power.

Leading the way ever so slowly, the lord of the oasis padded off in to the deapths of the mans city. The walls were crubled now and had been for generations past, the place purely inhabited by the wild, ruled by lions. "This place was made for war" he stats rather siddenly a smirk lining his pale lips. He loved his home, myth, ledgend and the gods had lead him here and now it was truely his. "Men left this place far too long ago to even imagine but their scent, their blood still runs through the streets." A light chuckle escaped the dark maned lion then. "I don't often speak my mind to anyone goddess, I have little doubt you'll speak my words to anyone." he turned his head to look upon the beauty once again and nodded. "You have no need to, I know that."

They had walked quite away in to the ruins when a building loomed before them, it was partially crumbled, but still held it's structure mostly, the ceiling and walls pretty much in tact. "The temple." He licked his lips dark eyes flashing. "It is my private sanctuary." He took a deep rasping breath then, licking his chops. "The blood ran deep here once, and stained the stones red. Perhaps they even worshiped you truth. Though I unfortunately doubt it. there are far more bloodier gods whom prefare the sacrifices which have marked the stones within forever."

His long tail swayed and he waited, waited to see if she wished to enter. This place was wheer he usually skinned his victims, he had long added to the bloodied stones of the old human temple. Of course, he doubted she would acctually wish to enter, though he had been prooven wrong before. This place could be facinating, to the right mind. His own inclueded.

Even as he circled her and brushed his shoulder against her leg, the goddess seemed unmoved; greatly amused, true, however, unmoved. Both brows arched at his later comment however, her maw wrinkling slightly as she refrained a chuckle, for after all, even despite everything... Truth always wished to maintain a sense of dignity about her. Laughing would've quite ruined her image at the moment, "Indeed, however, does His lordship think that saying such things will get him anywhere in particular? Truth is not an easy thing to catch, and you can scarecely keep it to thyself, now can you?" this time, the smile did come, the laughter shinning within Dili's eyes, "Thank you for the compliment however, it is indeed greatly appreciated."

One ear remain flicked to her right as she padded alongside the male, the other twitching this way and that, for the ruins did interest her so; the place was quite unlike most she'd seen, and it held a sort of ancient secret she wished to dissect, for alas, such was her nature. Audilifu always wished to learn the truth of past times, and even thought the ruins could not exactly talk, what she saw spoke out to her, in some underling way, "I see, but you need not worry; Truth listens, but she does not speak out much. Someone's truth, is another's lie; I mingle with mortals however, it is not for me to decide their destiny," this said, the goddess spread her wings and jumped on top of a particularly large stone ruin, her wings arched as she looked bellow, to what the scenery had to offer.

It was indeed beautiful, in many ways, "Speak your mind as you wish, My lord, and do feel free to call me by my given name, unless you have already forgotten it," a wink was added at this point as she hopped off her platform, landing elegantly upon the ground once more, her eyes keen upon her surroundings till they fell upon the temple. Sitting herself neatly before it, purple hued orbs regarded the fallen structure, an ear flick to the side as she listened to the large male talk, "Ah... I'm afraid I was not worshiped her," a darker smirk flashed across her maw ever so briefly before it melted into innocence, "As His lordship has just mentioned, there are others whom prefer blood as sacrifices; I am not interested in it. I'm interested in something much deeper," a pause as she raised her head up, the long locks of pale pink hair flowing to the side, exposing her full face o the temple, "I'm interested in what roams one's mind and one's heart. It's much more interesting," her head was still held high, her nostrils flaring for a longer moment before she finally turned to offer him an innocent smile.

There was nothing all too innocent within the female however, for as one whom had long been born with the truths of the world, she was neither evil nor good, but rather, dual in nature. She knew both shadows and light, evil and good must roam the earth to maintain it's balance and was nor horrified, nor saddened by the tale, nor by the fresher blood she could scent inside. Needless to say she wasn't entertained by it either, however, curiosity did move her, "Interesting, that one would chose such a place as a private sanctuary. I've always liked the beauty of nature far more. Specially the snow covered peaks," her eyes closed then, a humming purr resounding as she recalled such a place, "It's both cool and has quite a fair amount of ice; one can see one's figure reflecting back from it. His lordship would quite approve the place... that is, if he could find it first," again the slight smirk which only seemed to last but for mere seconds before it vanished into an innocent smile.

Much unlike her brother, whom was her opposite, Audilifu retained power and greatness to her figure. Where her brother was used to inflicting fear upon sight, she was used to the opposite, and where as Ushaufu usually chose the turn away from things when they got a bit too tricky, the goddess was quite used to putting up a fight. There was no need to say Deception would've never picked a fight with Truth, amusingly enough. Such Irony, "Do feel free to lead the way in, I shall follow; I've seen my fair share of blood... you'd be surprised the amount that's spilled in the name of Truth, or in hopes of keeping a truth secret," this said, she stood and slowly padded in, her eyes narrowing and her wings arching up, almost doubling her size.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 21, 2006 12:16 pm

He bowed his head as she entered, his nose touching her rear as she padded past him, he quickly followed though, he was clearly testing how she would react to his touch, his nosing, his curiosity about who and what she was. He quietly questioned his eyesight, wondered if truely she wa sthere, these occasional touches were proof of her exsistance, of her presence and also a feel of something far more powerful than he could truthfully imagine. The femme before him was so interesting to him. How he wanted her for that swift, deceiving smirk, she told the truth, she hid the truth, she knew his truths.

"I do not sleep here, only reside here away from others, a place to think, to spend my time alone. You could say some fear this old place, it's scents it's sights, it's memorys, it's truth."

As they padded in to the large temple, the darkness of the place shrouded them, though the building was delapedated in places, it was still an entire structure, light filtered, magical beams from a world outside of mans imagineation, flooded small spaces in the room, lighting up the floor in small dancing golden spots. This place had clearly never had any windows, the ceiling far above them made of the same dark stones as the floor. the only light, the only true light, shone upon a large stone table in the center of this collosus of a structure, a hole in the ceiling flooded the only thing in the room which was not flat. This thing, this table of old stone, once perhaps had been of the grey brown stones that surrounded them, but now, the tablau was long stained in blood. Old blood, from the centuries when man had ruled thisplace with it's iron fist and strange customs, recent blood from the death of those the salmon lord deemed fit.

He took a deep breath the golden eyed king and looked to the godess, watching the few fairy lights which penetrated the darknes, lighting that oddly attractive fur. "Tell me godess, can you hear the calls of those whom have died here?"He raised a brow. "I often wonder of the sprits that must watch these walls." He smirked, this godess, this femme, she was bringing out all those strange truths he had little or no need to tell anyone. Still, who would she tell? Why would she tell? She must already know all his deepest darkest secrets, the truths he kept hidden from all and sundry.

Shaking his mane, the dark thick fur fell over his honey glazed gaze as he padded towards the table, leaping on to it's surface he lay with his eyes closed for a moment, looking every inch, the conquering king, the lord of all he surveyed, the tyrant on his bloodied throne. "Does my home please you so far godess? there is much more for me to show you." His eyes opened once more and that handsome yellow eyed gaze flashed with defiance, with lust, with hratred and ambition, all the things he held dear, they flashed red for his lust for blood, for his hatred of his enemies. They flashed for a longing, for this godess. She would perhaps be his, perhaps, everything was his. the gods could be his, perhaps, he was after all forever confident of his own abilities. "Tell me godess, when you are done with your taur and returned to your sanctuary, will you return to visit this place? I could certainly come to look upon you quite happily, Audilifu" He smirked, that rough, rogish smirk he used on all the females he liked, he longed for he wanted, only with this one, there was a deep burning longing. She was a godess, a prize to aim for, to long for, to work for.

Eyes remain wide open as she padded in, her wings now carefully folded upon her back, yet never vanishing from sight, for unlike her brother, she did not hide the truth of her nature; it went against her beliefs to do so. Her tail twitched lightly behind her, eagerly as she padded into the shade the walls offered around her; it was in fact, a pleasent change of athmosphere for someone whom prefered the icy mountain peaks over the desert and thus a mild purring sound rumbled trough her chest, signalling her approval of the situation.

The scent of blood seemed not to bother her, nor did the darkened athmosphere; if she was bothered by his touch, the goddess seemed not to show it. In fact, quite the contrary; the light prod made her pause for a bare second, looking at the male over her shoulder as her tail flicked, brushing against him in turn. She was not entirely unsure of what the touches meant; she had a slight idea, but the main fact... that he was testing to see if she was real was not something that yet come across her mind. A smile came upon her features briefly as she motioned forward silently, the purring now probably audiable to him due to the echoing of the chamber and the silence about them.

"It is easy to fear a place that stinks of blood; death is something most mortals fear..." a pause came about her words as she slowled her pace to walk alongside him, "Truth, death, and being forgoten," she added lightly with that same ghost of a smirk she'd previously used, her gaze diverting finally from him and settling about her to admire the interior. For someone most used to being outside, within great expansures of earth... for someone used to flying, the place was small, slightly choaking, and yet deeply fascinating; it wasn't often that Dili allowed herself to visit such places, for though they held a great fascination, she was slightly wary of them. No one wanted Truth to come out of such places... they were to remain hidden, unknown. And yet curiosity called to her.

It was her sin.

Lifting her head up, the goddess allowed her eyes to remain hooded as she sniffed the air; yes, she could scent many things from this place, and she could sense many others. Fascinating indeed. An ears flickered towards him as she remain in this pose, lightly scenting the air, "Ah, but My lord, I am unable to hear their 'voices' I am merely allowed to know the truth behind the actions, the truth of the blood spilled. I am not lord of the dead, I am afraid," this said she finally dropped her pose and turned to smile at him; the gesture was sweet, contrasting deeply against the chamber that surrounded them, as for some odd reason Audilifu was able to mantain an air of innocence, even whilse standing in the center of the room, knowing exactly what had happened within.

As the King lay upon his throne, the goddess took about walking around the room, padding slowly around the male, with her gaze placed upon the walls; at a given moment, she slowly neared a certain wall, and brushed herself against it, leaving her scent enbedded into it, much like a kitten would've done against a pillow. This done, she sat by the wall and slowly pressing her head to the cold stone, she snapped her head in an swift movement, her horn rushing against the stone as she both sharpened it and produce sparks from the friction. The movement was repeated several time till the goddess seemed pleased and finally turned to face the male, "My lord, I have no place to call home, no taur per say," a wink at this point, "I travel, where my heart tells me to go, I go, where the wish of truth tugs for me, I approach... thus so it is not for me to say if I should return or not, but for you to decide upon, My lord, wouldn't you think?"

The smirk seemed to have no effect upon her person; in fact, she flashed him her own sweet, innocent smile back, her eyes closing as her purr deepened momentarily before her attention strayed back to wall, regarding the inmarks she'd left upon it with her horn; Yes, the place was nice. And he was an interesting one. The day and trip had not been worthless in the least. Audilifu was glad; in fact, she seemed quite content, "Do show me more; I shall follow. My heart desires to know more."

The golden eyed lords eyes never left the sleek strangely coloured figure, those honey glazed orbs fixed upon her, watching her movement, watching every step she took with an ease that didn't belong to any mortal creature. He sat silent while she created sparks and marked herself a place within his bloodied temple. "you speak the truth goddess, though not everyone fears these things" Stepping from the table in an easy strangely light footed leap the salmin tinted king padded up to the shining godess. She was so clear even in the darkness, her scent heavy in his nostrils. Strange a creature such as this shiould wander his halls willingly. He had heard tales of mortals killing gods, eating their hearts to gain their powers. The lord of the oasis though was far too superstitious for that, far better to ally ones self with the gods than rally against them and procure the wrath of others.

The cool flor made small clicking sounds as he crossed the dark hall to brush against the sparkling goddess, not careing for rigmorale any more, he wanted to touch her to feel her to breath her in. "It would be a pleasure godess" he whispers nuding her ears with his nose as he tured to pad back towards the bloody entrance of his own private temple. He often walked these halls with his claws slightly unsheathed enjoying the echo of his own paw steps as they reverbriated off of the cavernous walls. He was quite surprised at her puuring at such a place but his smile only broadened at the strange sound in such a dark forebodeing place. Her heart was clearly where her body was not. Shaking his dark mane of dust , he waited for her at the entrance, the light here flooded in in an oblong manner casting the bright golden light over the pale body, highlighting his jet black mane.

"It would please me if you returned to my shores goddess but allow me to show you more things that will perhaps tempt you to my home once again." He smiled a strange, eerie sort of smile as he looked back, perhaps at the winged lioness or perhaps, more likely, at the wide bloodied cavern, this place was more home than his own sleeping chambers, his own, private quarters. His gaze slowly fled back to the goddess though his golden eyes stareing straight at her, "Two beautiful things Dhiki, in the one place, this day is turning out most interesting" he chuckled waiting for her to join him.

A final look was casted upon the wall where she'd sharpened her horn; much like normal lions sharpened their claws, Audilifu liked to sharpen her horn, for not only did it make her feel some sort of unexplicable warmth inside, but it was esential to her. Her horn was one of her natural weapons, much more effective than clawing at her enemies; she always made sure to keep it clean. In fact, just one glance at the goddess' body seemed to radiate the fact the took perfect care of her body and self. Her pelt, unlike that of his brother, was well groomed, her claws, whenever unsheated of a perfect length, inmaculate; the long hair that cascaded over the side of her head, concealing one of her eyes most of the time, curled at just the right place.

It was obvious Dili took great pride in keeping herself in such a standard, and the fact her horn had left indentation within the stone made the female smile, her eyes closing briefly as she purred louder for a second. It was the male's voice that made her look his way, her ears perking as her purring lessened down to a pleasent level again, "I'm afraid I disagree, My Lord..." the smile was still carefully crafted upon her maw, her frame sitting quite calmly to the side, still by the wall, "Everyone is afraid of such things... even if subsconciously," her gaze drifted away from him, looking perhaps deeper, elsewhere, as if she could see beyond the walls of the chamber, "Even those of Ethereal nature fear being forgoten... for why is it you think each and everyone of us works so hard as to leave our marks upon this land? Ancient and yet young... mortal or not; we all crave the same things, to one level or another."

The smile once again appeared upon the female's maw, her purring having stopped alltogether as she gaze once more at the King, regarding him with a tilted head as he stepped down from his altar. His body was larger than hers as he brushed himself against her side; she'd not yet grown to her full potential, and though technically ageless in nature, her body still had a way to go. Thus so, Nyekundu's larger frame was visible against that of the pink female, even with her wings partially spread, out of the way as he allowed him the touch; after all, if this was not a game for him, it was a game for her. So much to test, to poke at; curiosity was still her sin, and despite her adolescent body, the goddess' mind had long since matured into a crafted whirlwind of thoughts and permonitions. Intelligent as she was, Dili's eyes narrowed ever so slightly as the Salmon lord passed her side, "I'm certain it would, My Lord... but there are times where it is hard, at best, to diferenciate between pleasure and pain. I'm quite sure one such as his Lordship would know quite well as to what I would mean with such words?" her maw brushed against his side as she took in his scent, breathing in deeply, the smile turning very briefly into a dark smirk.

Ah, he'd had many females; had she not been able to see it within his eyes upon sight, she'd have been able to see it upon his pelt then, however, it mattered not to her. She'd never taken anyone, however, she'd always felt pleasure upon being regarded as she was; she was not Lust. Far from it, however, Audilifu knew of her own charm, and was used to taking advantage of it... she enjoyed attention, reeled in it as much as Ushaufu reeled in confusing others.

"With such an invitation, my Lord, I may just have to return, mmm?" slowly, the goddess stood and finally joined the male's side at the entrance; indeed, her mind was not where her body was. Truth was something hard to read... hidding away behind her innocent facade. Was it, or was it not a facade? At times it was, at times it was not... Dili, being dual in nature was prone to both good and 'evil', in a way. Though she'd never directly been responsible of blood shed, indirectly, that what she reigned over was tainted by the bood of ages to come; people fought for truth, even against their own brothers; Audilifu knew of this. She'd been brougt up knowing the fact, "Interesting indeed," came her voice as she offered him an innocent smile, brushing against him ever so lightly as she padded by his side, her wings once more folded upon her back, her tail twitching this way and that, "Ushaufu would've found this quite interesting indeed.... pity he's too busy trying to descipher his own heart and feeling; love is such a fickle thing," the smile was truthfully warm at this point, for there were few capable of touching her soul like her own brothers, "Fickle and yet craved, poor soul, naive despite being Deception..."

A pause as her eyes narrowed briefly before the gesture melted into her usual innocent smile, her gaze slowly falling upon the Salmon Lord, "Tell me, my Lord, what are thyne views on such a thing as Love? Fickle? Unexisting, or perhaps just a tool to manipulate others with?" Audilifu herself believed in love; having watched many go through great ordeals for such feelings, wether returned or not. It was refreshing and she'd always respected it; watching her brother now was also deeply amusing due to this. A chuckle rung through her throat, her purring finally reinitiating as she licked her maw, "Shall we wait for tomorrow?" the words were actually sung, her humming voice fading as she added a trot to her step. Today... she was amused.

The golden eyed lord watched her ever so carefully, her every step, the flick of her curled hair, the twinkle int hose calculating eyes. He loved power, reached for it as if it were a beacon of life, his claws usually seizing what he wanted. This though, he could neither seize, nor posess, no matter what he did. he could be satisfied with the touch then. The scent of that ethreal fur. She had never been touched. At least not in this form, he could smell no male upon her body. That sort of thing clung to the frame forever. He knew, he had left many a female with his own personal mark, his own scent. "I suppose you are correct godess, I cannot fear death, it would be foolish of me, I know I dodge it now, I cling to life like a limpet. But my lagacy." He paused and looked out in to the startling sun. "This pride, this place, this home, my children, they are my lagacy. They will carry on my memory whether they like it or not." He smirked at that. He knew he had left a mark upon most of this pride, not only physically, mentally too, his cubs were marked with that stripe of salmon, his natural mark, his slaves carved with his very own symbol. This pride belonged to him, dead or alive he would be remembered as it's king he was sure of that.

"Enough of death and trivial things m'lady let us continue." Brushing his mane against her shoulder, that tentative touch, he padded past her waiting only for a moment for her to catch up to him. His dark mane flowed around those pale shoulders, black, stark in contrast against the white and that blareingly obvious salmon line. "There is a fuine line between joy and fear Dili, but you know that, being truth, it can bring joy and fear upon any mortal, god, any creature, you know that" He smirked gently wathcing her features, she was a book, a closed book sealed with a thousand sheets of metal, impossible to pry open unless you knew where the hair line crack was. He wanted to peel her open, to see how she ticked, to see what was in that age old mind that he could pry away, read that soul, that mind, discover the mysteries of the world. He shook his head. Fantasies, dreams, he had many of them and they would include the goddess of truth from hence forth, for many reasons.

He was quite surprised when she started to speak of her brother, a brow rose and he licked his pale lips as he contemplated the question, love, yes, a truth he hated to admit. "I loved once."It was a simple enough answer but one filled with questiones perhaps. "It is something now that i use to my own devices. But once, once it was something I longed for. It's too late for me to own it now. The truth it." he paused and chuckled "I have had love and it hardened me to the world, but you already know that godess, it is something I know of and can possibly even respect from a distance. It no longer belongs to me though, it is something beyond my power, beyond, perhaps, my mortal comprehension." He let the final word roll of fhis tongue those honmey glazed eyes fixed upon the female. "Your brother goddess, he will work it out on his own, we always do, we choose the path we have laid down before us. I wish him luck, it is a hard bargain to make, one with the heart." He laughed and walked onwards heading for the edge of the built up part of the oasis, green grass grew beyond and in the distance palm trees reached for the skies. "we head there now." he looked to the pinky purple goddess and touched her neck with his nose. The truth, she seemed to be pulling it all out of him in one long babble of words. His truths were well hidden, the goddess though, this goddess must know them all without him ever speaking them. The truth was, he could love this beast, for her power, for her knowlege, for her truth, though a simple touch, would quite happily do. That sweet scented touch.

No male had ever swayed Audilifu's action, and it was posible no male ever would; the goddess was independant, vain, and perhaps a bit too proud to allow anyone past that wall she'd so long built around her form. Where as Nye seemed to crave power, the female craved something else; her long life had been passed trying to sattisfy her need for what she deemed as 'fun'. Anything and everything the goddess did seemed to aim for this particular need; her curioisity needed to be sattisfied. Right now, the male beside her was doing a fine job at both, "Life is brief, but intense, even for those whom deem themselves inmortal," a smile was offered as she tilted her head, "Legacies are not really of true need, not to me..." turnng her head away from him she looked to the distance, perhaps something akeen to sadness washing ever so briefly upon her features, "I shall probably never have such a thing; it is not what I seek, and those that do not seek, shall probably never find."

This said, the goddess trotted ever so slightly faster, her wings lightly opening, only to close once the male brushed his mane against her shoulder; again the delicate arch of a brow as she tilted her head in silent question. The movement was innocent, perhaps truthfuly so before she licked her maw, "Lead, I shall follow," she answered him, catching up yet again, "Joy, fear, love, hate.... it's al the same to me. I've seen them all flash through eyes of mortals within seconds, and even within eyes of gods. No one escapes feelings, and those that claim they do are only lieing, both to themselves and their surroundings. No one's emotionless. No one's got a frozen heart."

As he spoke of love, the female regarded him, her eyes finaly denoting feeling within them; true feeling, instead of the innocent mask she'd worn throughout the meeting. There was sadness within them, sadness perhaps for him, or perhaps for someone else; it was imposible to tell, for the soul that hid within those eyes was hard to read, "We can not have everything. What you seek, and love, do not go hand in hand..." her words were perhaps the most cryptic she'd uttured throughout the whole meeting, specialy since they were not followed by her usual smile; in fact, her features turned into a slight frown, keen in expressing the sadness that washed from her eyes.

Eventualy, the female turned away to glance up above, "Ah, my brother will indeed work it out on his own; it's already started..." finaly did the smile return, cheefulness washing over Dili's features, perhaps almost bipolar in nature, the goddess had jumped from one emotion to another in the blink of an eye. Indeed, she knew many truth, specialy those others allowed her to pry from them; curiosity, it was after all her sin, much like his seemed to be desire, "Beautiful," a purr rumbled through her chest at the view, her face turning to him as he nosed her, her tail flicking to one side.

Stepping out on to the feild of green he let the deep green sea swim against his fur as he padded through it, the gentle leafy grass carressing his sides. "This place goddess, it will always belong to us now, it is my home, I care for it in a way, it will always be my base of commands no matter wheer my claws take me." He chuckled gently pausing for a moment to observe a small herd of antilope in the distance. "They don't migrate, it's simply always green here,t hey have no need to." He looked to the goddess for a long moment., his golden yellow orbs taking in the sensations of her body. "We are careful, I'm no fool to think we can simply plow through the herds, we eat what we need and nothing more. I'm no fool, thats the truth." He chuckled gently, it was a silly pun, but with the return of her smile so returned his admiration for her.

He was silent for a long time while he thought of her questions, of her whimsical answers, he pondered if he had seen the true soul behind the obvious innocent facade which she held out before him. These were questions he would think upon later, for now, he was happy to walk, to enjoy the sun upon his back to listen to the rustle of grass and the ruffling of her feathered wings as she followed him towards the great mass of trees and the oasis' other sacred secret. The training ground.

Mostly every creature of the oasis knew of this place, it was a strange place full of strange questions, of ancient myth. He used thi place to strike awe, to envoke something in his 'troops' It worked, mostly. Training went well.

Breaking in to the trees, the dark maned king soon came out the other side of the thin belt where he sat and waited for the goddess to see what he presented her with.

Five stones of about the same hight, though each was just a little shorter than the one they were greeted with, seemingly grew out of the ground. Crestingeach stone near the top of their flat, surfaces, incrested and suken in the pale sandstone like material were gems, gem,s of varying colours. He did not question how these things got here, but they did and he used them. "I hope you approve" he whispered waiting for her to speak of these monolyths. How they ahd gotten there he never quetioned. They simply, were.
