I can hardly decide, but i have to say one of my favourite weird games: Gish: actually it has a story too, The main character is this cool ball of tar, and his girlfriend gets kidnapped(which looks strangely human?) then you have to save her from the dephs of underworld. You can control the ball of tar by moving, jumping, making him sticky to climb walls and ceilings, make him hard to smash things, and making him slicky to slide through most smallest gaps. Great fun, especially the 2p mode where you play against your friends in various tournaments (sumo, death match, race, american football...etc).
Strange but attractive game! You can download the demo somewhere too, but buying the full game is so much better...

Ravenmichiru Dream kokoro AnGeL I am not sure but it would probably be Twisted Metal: Black. What do you think make it "weird"? Please give me some more insight if you would. its not as much as "weird" but creepy... its a car battle game and each driver has a twisted story... "For example this driver(axel) one day was walking thro a park and his wife got kidnapped and he got her back in 3 months piece by piece..." yeah thats the kinda of weirdness/creepiness this game is aha

Captain Tsubasa (NES) - A soccer/RPG hybrid which can be insanely fun to play if you like both genres and can get over the Japanese menues.
Chaos Legion (PS1, PC) - The game's somewhere between Pokemon, Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry.
Deus Ex Machina (ZX-Spectrum, Amstrad CPC 464) - A game where you had to look after a human born in a world where humans were no more... Machines ruled, and wanted the "intruder" dead. The game was a weird mix of about twenty mini-games, if you got to old age you had to move an indicator through the old man's cardiogram (or however that's spelled in English. rolleyes )
Rygar (NES) - Is it an RPG? Is it action? Is it platform? Is it weird for a prehistoric guy to have a chain-disc-sword?
