Ahem. Uhh... I'm moving. Not so momentous news, except for that I'm moving to a ship, so email access only, no interwebs. sad
I'll still come here when I'm in port and can get online, but there's no way I can moderate effectively. Take away my position, or just add another one, I dunno, it's the captain's call...
Hm. Sad to have to abandon my first staff positin; I should have refused it outright, but I was too giddy about getting it.
...Anyway, I'll be at home on leave for 2 weeks, during which time I'll be on if I can get on my parents' dial-up connection, then on hold til I can be flown out to my ship, so I'm not quite gone yet.

So, like, I'm here about a month longer than I was supposed to be, because the mighty United States Navy can't procure a plane ticket from San Diego to Singapore.
So the bad news is, there's no internet access in the transient personnel barracks, and the only public WAP on the base is behind a firewall that thinks Gaia (as well as deviantART) are freaky porn or something.
Luckily, my buddy found a lil' goff coffeeshop which has it, so I'll be on when I get a ride from him.
