Tisoni Immortalis-Tison Capital
Tisoni Immortalis- capital of the Tison Universe and most famously the largest non-planet location in the entire realm. The city itself is actually a large space station at the center of Tison. A large sideways egg shaped structure houses the main part of the city. A slender funnel connects this upper part of the “city” with its small spherical counterpart. The sphere contains the residential part of Tisoni Immortalis. In between the upper part and the funnel is a small upside down dome in which the main shopping districts of the city flourish.
Only gigantic orbs filled with many sarurian crystals are sources of light in the upper part of the station of a city. The spaces cut into the sides of the orbs to release the light make them appear somewhat like strobe lights. Each of the numerous orbs contain shutters that dim the lights to make the change from day to night appear more realistic as if this world had its own sun. From the funnel on down light comes from smaller openings containing sarurian crystals that light the pathways up and down to the sections of the station. The residential section contains such lights upon the walls and ceiling areas which dim as the ones in the upper section do but they are not has fancy looking or powerful.
Traffic between the two ends is filtered through the funnel or the upper part of the station. The opaque walls of the upper city open periodically each day to reveal the clear walled outer ring of the egg, through which transports from other worlds enter the city.
In between the sets of panels that open to allow in ships is a large track on which travel the city’s trams. Those who are let off of ships in the docking bays will usually catch it so as to be transported to their destination around the city. There are 5 trams in the station, running around circular tracks and stopping at each and every designated stop in their section of the city. There is one track in the middle and one near the top of each of the two sections of the station as well as one around the upper part of the shopping district of the city. Each of these trams is essential to the travel between locations in the city. At each station there is also an elevator type contraption that allows visitors to go up or down so they may get to another tram stop.
The business district of the city mainly consists of tall spire bearing buildings with bizarrely shaped towers and open domes that in most places would be considered dangerous. A huge open metal bridge twists and curves all over the city, allowing for those sight seers and playful teenagers who wish to enter the city to enjoy its fantastic scenery without being confined to a stuffy air walk. Air walks-a kind of bridge inside of a usually clear circular casing- are commonly used just to get from one building to another without much hassle during a workday.
Commuters from all over the main galaxy commute to Tisoni Immortalis Daily to work, most commonly of all, in the Tison High Court. The Tison High Court is held within a great tree at the center of the city’s upper section. The tree is a wonder of mechanics and nature itself, as it is supposedly a gift of the goddess Kyindera and her son Wiren, upon the union of the worlds. The tree appears natural and is always thriving, as a real tree would, but its insides are technological wonders, instead of just bark and leaves. Within the vast creation of the Tison gods is a mystical castle like place, featuring statures of the gods, fancy décor, and every important office of the High Court. Atop the tree sits the second mightiest of any temples in Tison. The palace of a structure, featuring many gardens within it, and mechanical seeming architecture shows the gratitude and honor the Tison people bestowed upon Kyindera and Wiren for the gift of the great tree.
The Court itself requires four buildings entirely for the docking of smaller ships. Those who work in the Great Tree and do not wish to use public transportation to get to work and back will often leave their transports on one of the levels of the floating docks. The docking ports are flat plains, each separate from the others, almost always straight in their hovering above the one beneath them. They are held together by the elevator type device at the center of the docking blocks which will take the user up or down to the nearest of the 3 air walks connecting the tree and the docks.
The bottommost of the docking locks for the workers of the court and the local areas is one of the roots of the tree that were completely flattened out on top so that it looks like one of the other docks. These bays have a direct connection to a large tube like device that wraps around the tree with a door to each floor of the Court. The tube contains small elevator type transports in which one rides to their designated floor.
The only part of the docking bay area that was not a flat and meant for the holding of smaller transports were the peaked roofs which floated over the top port, connected still by the elevator contraption. These roofs were actually offices for the dock masters whose duty it was to make sure that all was in order with the care of the transports and whatnot. They would also check that all of the transports parked in the area contained a pass that allowed them to park in that area and whatnot. Only workers and residents of the areas in and around the Great Tree were granted such passes so a non-pass bearing transport would have to be removed from the area.
The lower section of the tree, as was necessary for the living part of it, was rooted in a giant park/garden. The most rich and high-ranking Tison officials tended to live in this area in their fancy houses. The more sophisticated shops, which could not be found in the shopping districts of the city, were also located in this area, on the other side of the tree. Half of this park was dedicated to upper residences and the other to the shopping for such upper class residents. Garidan Heights, as the area from the far side of the residences to the Great Tree itself was titled, was a place most would not be anywhere near were they not of the socially and financially well endowed. Though there are a few who are not so much like that in this city.
