Zuri once again laying on her back was watching the clouds float by her tail flickering. She sighed softly watching them float by while she counted them. "25..... 26...." It was a borning afternoon, she'd yet to run into anyone to play with.
She wondered what Xu was doing by now for it'd been a while since she'd seen the white cub.

Rushing down the path of the grasses, the half-prince picked up his pace as he tried to catch the creature before him. Every time his paws got close, the chirping would sound and once more the cricket would hop off and away from his sights. Though it did not anger him, Mastema found his eyes narrowing in frustration, before he pushed to focus on the task at hand.
"Don't go too fast! You aren't making this fair!" The whine echoed out across the soft breeze, before he suddenly saw a golden form poke before his paws. She was well hidden beneith the grass, and the cub had to jump over since he could not stop, mimicing the cricket as well before rolling when his paws failed to land so evenly.
"Ouch..."

Out of shock zuri sat up in a rather riduclous pose that soon cuased her to land flat on her back one again, rolling over she got up and looked at the male.
She giggled and moved to help him up. "Oh dear are you okay?" She asked looking at him with another giggle, "that's quite a leap you made." It was easy to tell she was amused by this as unfortionation as it was she couldn't help but to be a bit tickled.

He just sat on his belly for a moment, eyes softening in a daze before a grin spread across his features. The grasshopper forgotten, just like most of the thoughts that passed through his mind, Mastema pushed up to his paws and turned his eyes to the golden lioness beside him.
"I am alright, nothing a little bit of rest wont cure!" He said with a chirp of his own, obviously not really knowing what rest did to cure it, but having heard it from others around him.
"I'm Mastema...and I didn't see you at all when I was running, were you hiding or something?" He asked it all in a speeded breath, tilting his head at the question and blinking in silence.

She nodded watching him as she sat down her tail flickering. "I'm glad you're okay, I'd feel bad had you gotten hurt." She grinned looking around," what were you chasing?"
Pausing she giggled, "I'm aurizuri, you can call me zuri though." Her tail flickered again as she shook her head, "Heavens no... or well I wasn't trying. I was counting the clouds."

"I was chasing a hopper!" He said with a puffed chest, "I almost caught him a few times too, but he always got away, and is really fast. Sometimes I think he forgets I am playing with him and tries to run away..." Suddenly, his ear perked, and he turned his head to the side as she said her name, completly missing it with his distraction and moving a step to the grasses.
"Do you hear that?" He asked in a soft whisper, looking back to her a moment before snapping his head, "I think he's here..."

Watching hims he giggled "Hoppers are fun to chase." She nodded, "yes I thinks ometimes they do forgot you're playing with them. Although I like to talk to them too." She girnned, "It's funny when they chrip at you after you say something.
She paused and looked at him listining, "Aye that he is." She was watching for him to hop. "Maybe you can catch him and tell him to stop running away."

He nodded swiftly at her advice, and yet all at once he slamed into the grass, the chirps running silent. Instead, the soft puttering of wings fluttered out as dozens of crickets hopped, skipped and flew away from where Mastema landed.
"Aw!" He said with a large sigh, before spinning around and padding back with a small smile, grass inbetween his paws and behind his ears, "I missed again, but it is alright, usually a new friend will come and play when I am all alone, but I've got you to play with!" His eyes shimmered with happiness as he scotted closer, "Do you like to play?"

Zuri gigled at him again. He was a silly little one, she grined, "of crouse I like to play!" Her tail flickered as she giggled, and moved over brushing the grass off his head laughing.
"You're funny, you know that?" Her grin faded as she streached, "So waht do you want to play?"

His small cheeks set into a frown at the question, and he just settled into a strange silence that was unlike his personality. Never was Mastema one to get caught in thought, always just going through things on impulse and with a cheery smile. That is unless his siblings picked on him, but those times were few and inbetween.
"I don't know of very many games, most of my siblings only like to play hunting games, where we...well...I wouldn't call them games..." His face was grave for a moment before he suddenly smiled.
"Maybe...maybe you could teach me!"
