Aurora sat on a park bench his head in his hands as he mused life and its many strange paths. After confessing he liked Kinnara and then kissing the boy he felt like raunchy teen that had taken over a youths feelings.
He ruffeled his hair in despair. His head was hurting him and it was probably due to overthinking. He just wanted to relax and so had gotten ahold of Medeine to hang out. Maybe seeing an old friend would help him think things through.
Though he probably felt...more out of body than anything. He wasn't use to being in this tall lanky form. He felt awkward and not very elegant, though each move he did make was like watching some slow moving dance.

Medeine, always a woman who'd flowed in her movements, was only a few minutes late, casually bending at the waist to press a kiss against Aurora's forehead, before sitting beside him, playful blue eyes moving over his older body. She wasn't the type to make a big deal about people growing. Everyone got older eventually, and instead raised a brow.
"Tell me, my handsome Briar... What troubles thee?"

Feeling the brush of lips against his forhead Aurora knew Medeine had arrived. He opened his eyes and looked up at her. Yep she was still attractive as ever.
"good day to you Medeine." he replied at first, cursing his thoughts as they wondered and lamented that now he was too tall to be squished into Medeine chest when she hugged him. Good god what was wrong with him?
"Many things beautiful girl." he continued stretched his arms out in front of him before finally erlaxing a bit. "Though mainly it is my feelings i need to sort out." he sighed knowing this conversation would probably not end well.
Despite his feelings for Kinnara, Aurora had never intended to break his promise to Medeine. He would still be her prince, even if it was more of a brotherly role. He would grow into the part he was sure.

"Feelings are fickle, and never worth trusting."
A low, husky laugh, and the older blonde leaned back on the bench, resting her palms flat against the stone, a knowing smile flirting with the corners of her mouth.
After all, she'd had some experience with other's feelings. Her own rarely changed, really, but other's often did. In fact, she felt much the same for both Aurora and Tasius, despite any changes in their emotions.

They change? Aurora mused on her words and then leaned back. "I suppose emotions are always in a state of flux," he stated and then looked over to her and his half smile turned into a small frown.
"I guess i just feel guilty.. is all. I am a hypocrit for being so upset when you left and yet here I did the same." he finished wondering her feelings on that topic.

A fingertip ran over his bottom lip, and she grinned, trying to make his smile return.

His body shivered feeling her finger stroke his lower lip, he gave her a half smile in the least.
"Ah Medeine, you are always the sunshine in my day. YOu always know the right words to make me feel better." the words seemed a bit hallow to him as if he was an empty shell of himself.
"tell me though....has life be fairto you since I ave been gone?" He asked trying to move past the awkwardness he was starting to feel.

Seeing his reaction, the blonde pulled away, a frown hovering on her lips as she stood, and moved a short distance to press her palm against a tree trunk, liking the feel of the rough bark against her smooth skin.
"Tasius seeks to claim me, I believe. I do not have many feelings about that."
A low, caustic chuckle, and she glanced at him from behind her bangs. Her words were slow, calculated, as she studied his response to all that she said.
"Thee hath seen Kinnara lately, hath thee not...?"
Kinnara was still a boy, though, wasn't he...? Hrm.

Aurora's head jerked up in surprised, the dragon boy? His face grew dark an unusual reaction for him.
"you are not some prize to be auction off, or cliamed." his words held a hint of anger in them. He couldn't look at Medeine anymore and forced his face to look aside.
"You have no feelings on that topic?" he asked wondering why she wouldn't feel anger about it unless she....liked the dragon.
His body went a bit rigid as Kinnara's name popped into the conversation. He forced himself to relax.
"Aye...actually fairly recently." he mumbeled running a hand through his hair. "I...confessed I had feelings for him." He let the words hang in the air unsure of what else to say.

A strange, husky laugh as she repeated her earlier words, as she leaned and pressed her body against the bark, falling silent and closing her eyes. It was interesting how things went in full circle. When she'd first met Aurora, he'd disliked her, because Kinnara gave her his attention. Aurora had been enthralled by the other boy. And he was once more, it seemed.
But her own feelings? For whom? Tasius, lord of dragons? Her smile became self-mocking as she finally looked back at the younger teen, brows raised.
"Which is worse, Briar? To be a prize that is claimed, or to be wanted by none?"

Aurora looked to her, his expression flitting from angery to sad he stood and moved over to Medeine though his hands remained still at his sides.
"To be considered an item is different from being wanted. Your too beautiful to be a prize, and too head strong to let that happen to you. Don't let someone else predetermine your future." He stated thinking back to his quest and that constant voice telling him over and over that he would fail.
"Your life is your own. Your path is your own. No one else may choose that for you."

"Ah, but dear, dear Briar... Some compromises must be made. I am not the type that fate wants to set free, rather, I have to fight for it. Perhaps to break free of one captor, I must pretend to be a prize for another?"
To escape Piper's tale for her, would be she pretend to be Tasius' plaything? Maybe it was worth it? It seemed that the dragon was the only one who still wanted her. Even Aurora was moving on.
"He thinks he loves me."
An almost emotionless smile, and she pushed away from the tree to press her face against Aurora's neck, arms sliding around his middle. Life was turning into something difficult for Medeine, she was no longer the carefree forest girl she loved being.
"My life is not yet my own, Briar, I simply make it seem that way."
She wasn't free yet.

Feeling the girl wrap her arms around him he felt a sad smile cross his face. He raised a hand to stroke her hair and leaned his head against hers.
"My dear friend, Medeine... I hate to see this happening to you. I thought my own problems were tough but it seems you are caught between a rock and a hard place." he murmured in her ear.
"I so dearly wish I could save you from it all." he continued feeling useless once again. He thought by growing up he would mature enough and become strong enough to fight for those he cared for, and now he felt ....so weak.
"The dragon?" he asked when she refered to him loving her. His own thoughts flashed toa dark voice and a dragon that threatened to kill him from his dreams. He couldn't help but feel a bit alarmed by it.

"Yes, that boy of wing and fang."
Tasius, the dragon. But no, poor, misinformed Aurora. He wasn't useless to her at all. He was a prince. As was Tasius. And to escape the Piper's laws, she had to follow a part of her tale. She needed to marry a prince. Hrm. Always thinking, planning, plotting, Medeine turned her head, and pressed warm lips against Aurora's mouth, questioning. Was he fully Kinnara's once more?
Aurora could save her.

Aurora was fully aware he had...let this get a bit too far. Comfort turned to arousel, he felt a bit ashamed of himself. But the other side of him the one who cared very deeply for Medeine well being returned the kiss. Whilst the other part of him felt the very horror of betrayel he had just done to Kinnara.
Hadn't he just confessed that he liked the boy? and now here he was kissing Medeine. Just who did he want in his life?
After a moment he pulled away from the kiss, feeling the very bombardment of emotions rushing through his head. He still had his arms wrapped around Medeine.
"Do you care for this dragon?" he asked a bit hoarsely, his mind spinning.
