Jude Deveroux and Johanna Lindsey are both good historical romance authors. Try Sabrina Jeffries as well, she wrote a couple good books about the Brotherhood of Bastards. The sons of Prinny. The first and second ared good, but the one about the widow and the gambler not so much...

    do you remember the titles that are good?

    I have one Johanna Lindsey but it wasn't that good... ^^;;

*sigh* Johanna Lindsey's book tend to be a hit 'n miss situation, apparently. The Magic of You is my favorite be her, as I've said again and again. If there's an amazing character, it's Amy.

Let's see....the first was In the Prince's Bed the second was To Pleasure a Prince, I think the last one was One Night With a Prince but I'm not sure....

Jacquie D'Alessandro.

I've read Not Quite A Gentleman and NEver A Lady and both are really good.

She's the only one I can think of that I haven't suggested to you yet. XD

If not, try Janet Evanovich. She's not historical, and her most popular series isn't really romantic, but she's so funny, and I love her Stephanie Plum books with a Passion! You'll be sure to find that at a local book store, if not Walmart.

Evanovich? she lives in New Jersey!!!

Hibari Amano, though? It should be translated into most European languages(Are you the Dutch girl? Short term memory...) since it's been a best seller since the early '90's from what I've seen.
