well i hated my old bd and i never got to the school favorite because he got laid off but our brand new (because my other one left after the other was laid off) i like a lot but people dont like her because she replaced the favorite even though its not her fault

Our old band director was a bland woman who meant well but she had no personality. She did have boobs that worked like a metronome, though. Ahhh, the glorious Dr. Beats. <3
But then she realized no one liked her and quit. Our new band director is cool and tells us stories about when he was a messenger boy for the local mafia. Woo!

Hell yeah. Our new band director is way better than my old one..and she gave us a lot more opportunities than the old one would have given us. Plus, she's really young and she still thinks like us...so she can relate to us. Several times now, she's said s**t, hell, ******** and other words to me when we talk like friends. It's really cool...

my band director of BBHHS is leaving after working for 28 years. I love him to death and no one can take his place.
We got to be directed by the three people trying to take our BD's job, and one of them was a student teacher that all of us liked a lot. I wish him the best of luck, 'cause so far the other two in one way or another could never handle our band. Them? Handle over 250 people? I don't want to even see them try . . . blaugh

Yep. Our old BD retired this past year. He was really laid back and went by the book pretty much. Then we got Mr. Foster...wow. While Mr. N (can't spell his name) played around everyonce and a while, Mr. Foster always makes us laugh.
Got a PROBLEM with that?!

I like my new BD (Mr. Dembosky) more than i did my last Bd. He actually can make our band better!!! WOOT!!!! Our last BD was a really nice woman...but she was too leinient and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. BUT...i heard he talks crap about us to our drumline music writer...don't know if thats true...but if so...thats really ******** up.

No, but probably soon. I like my BD, but I wish he had the band do more. We have a lot of talented people in the band, but the music we play isn't very challenging. Next year we're getting a new BD.
