Deidre Bond stumbled into Kotatsu's house, back from the pound. Yawning, she reached into the linen closet and took a ragdoll that looked like her from it. She brought this into her room and put it on the bed opposite hers.

Now, Deidre's room as perfectly symmetrical. She had two beds, two doors, two of all of her furniture and toys, carefully organized so as to not bother her at all. She had a window facing the outside and a window facing the hall, with a pull down screen to show clouds through a window or a night view drawn in crayon. She had two doors too, One lead to the hall and one led to a sheer drop onto the pavement, a floor below. It was a very nice room.

She sat on the bed and looked around before going into the bathroom to brush her teeth.

Deidre came back in presently, with minty-fresh breath. Seeing the doll, she let out a cry of disappointment and quickly tried to copy its pose, so as the restore symmetricalness. However, the Doll was too floppy for this to be humanly possible, so she landed on the floor with an 'oof'. Getting up, she untied the doll and set it on the opposite bed. Then she picked up two stuffed toys and went to throw them at Orca. "Don't move Deiied!" she yelled at him. "Big jerk!"

Deidre hurried to adjust them, looking at her brother mournfully. "Why can't you be more conductive to the flow of symmetricalness in my room?" she asked sadly. "Kotatsu is. Dad tries, but I think he's a little weirded out by it. And he almost left through the wrong door once." said Deidre, looking at the door the led to a quick trip onto the pavement. "Do you know how hard it is to dangle from a curtain to restore symmetricalness?" she asked. "Because it's impossible unless I dislocate bits of me." said the girl matter-of-factly.

Deidre glared at him. "No, no no! Being unequal is bad." She pouted. "Dad flirts with a bigger number of people than one and he's just one, and everyone call that bad, so being unequal is bad!" It was so simple, she wanted Orca to understand too. "Do you want everyone to think we're bad as Dad?" she pleaded. She then ran out into the hallway to pull out a plushie of her brother and put it on the other bed. All better!

Deidre looked at Orca. "Maybe..." she said doubtfully. "But we have to be careful!" In response to his next question, she said "Only a few..." defensively. "One of me, you, Kotatsu, and Comet." And since she knew him, she said "And don't you DARE do anything to them!" admonishingly. Sitting down plushie Deidre next to Plushie Orca, she sat on the bed with him. "So today I took a walk around the pound."

"No, not really." Deidre said. "I met a few people and a lady that Dad was talking to, though I really didn't mean to run in to them. She was nice." She didn't notice Orca's unconvincing tone. "And if you do do anything to them I'll have to tell Dad that you're adding to my mental stress when I'm likely to collapse from it at any minute anyway, and to stop it he should really punish you with something or I might get even weirder than I already am and show up in front of girls he's talking to being extremely weird and mentally unstable." Just in case.

Deidre looked at him and then picked up a few things, holding them up so he could see each clearly. "Well, THIS," she said slowly. "Is called clooooth. We take the cloooth and this neeedle and threeead and sew it togeeether in the shape of a doooolll." The dolls were crudely made that way, but you could tell which was made first by the detail level. The most detailed one was made last. "Really, don't you know how to sew, Orca?" she asked her brother. "It's so simple."

Deidre looked at him worriedly. "Orca, what are you planning?" she asked. She didn't want to be a part of a huge scheme to, she didn't know, take over the world or something. "It's not going to be illegal, is it?" It was best to ask Orca these questions before agreeing to anything. After all, one never knew. "Or violent? Or cruel? Or..."
