Appearance: The outward appearance of Patricia varies depending on her 'mode'. Though her clothes are usually the same. She bears a long burgondy (sp?) leather coat, which is usually undone. Temprature isn't an issue with her, so she really doesn't need to stay warm. Beneath that, she wear's a tight corsett, combined with a ruffle sleeved white blousse. She also bears tight leather pants, that are also built with boots. Each hand is usually covered by white silky gloves and her eyes are usually covered by a pair of framless, red tinted sunglasses. She's usually equipped with a weapon or two, usually a katana (as it's easiest to trasnport), but her real weapon comes from her body and her massive elemental manipulative abilities.
She is of average build, and around 5'7" tall. Weighs about 145lbs. She looks very frail, almost powerless to attack (which is underestimating her greatly). Her skin is very pale, as if to say that she isn't in the sun often. She has what she refers to as 'modes'. The only two she knows of are her human mode and her death mode.
While in the 'human mode', she basically is 100% human. All the humanly body functions, such as heart beat, blood flow, persperation, etc, all come into effect. She usually has a very blonde hair colour and her eyes appear hazel. When in 'human mode', she usually appears very cheerful, polite and well brought up. The usual 'ladylike' type.
When in 'death mode', she looses quite a bit of her humanity. The first thing is that she becomes almost dead. None of her bodily functions follow their orderly fashion. She basically becomes undead. Her brain is the only thing that does not shut down. Her eyes change to a pure silver and her pupils dissappear altogether. Her features usually bear no emotion. She usually has a very seriesous look to her.
Personality: Personality is something that really only applies to the human side of her. She has a very collected personality and she's quite conservative in her thoughts. She likes to keep to herself most times. She is usually carefree and very considerate to others, always considering the thoughts of those around her, though she's used to being alone. When angered or upset, she becomes quite negative about herself, her thoughts and her actions. She becomes very stuborn about letting others know what's going on in her mind.
When in the 'death mode', most of her emotions become surpressed into her mind. She feels no happiness, nor sadness when in this state. Although she has no emotion, she can still become quite angry. When enraged by a foe, she becomes a killing machine who won't rest until the target has been destroyed.
History: Patricia Marie Cunningham, born July 3, 1789, France. Though born in france, she was not of french decent. She spent the first 9 years of her growing up in a castle with her family. She went through a large numbre of training courses, to give her as much of a lady complextion as she could. But she soon grew weary of it and mistakingly wished that it'd all go away. About week later, a clan of demonic ritualists attacked her home. All of her family was slaughtered, as a form of ritual, but she managed to escape through the front gate while the masacre went on. In exhaustion, she fainted in her escape and was found in the morning by a clan of hunters.
This clan was dedicated to erraticating all forms of evil. Human or otherwise. This clan took Patricia into their wing. Though it took her a while to learn to speak english, the clan never gave up on her. At 12, her fluency in the language was coming along quite well. It was then that her training began. She trained for 9 hard years, along side with the clan leader, Vance Cambridge. It wasn't uncommon for her to partake in a few clan missions while still in-training. Her stealth allowed her to sneak up on a foe and kill from behind, without a trace of any sort. This landed her with the nickname 'Dagger'.
At the age of 21, all the clan mates had gathered for a celebration. The occasion? Vance and Patircias' engagement to marry. It was around midnight that a mysterious stranger knocked on the front gate. Thinking he was just a starving middle-aged man, the gaurds let the stranger in. Deception was one of this mans specialties. He was not a starving middle-aged man, but a demonic soul stealer in human form. Patricia had to watch as all those she cared for were murdered brutally.
Before her own death, she was raped, then had her throat cut. She bled to death in the main hall. On her dying breath, she vowed revenge on he who had done this to her. After death, she was surrounded by a bright light. A voice called out to her, as though it rang from all around. It offered her a second chance at life and at revenge. She agree'd.
She is now known as 'the Heavenly Vendetta'. That who strikes down those with truely evil hearts. She exacts revenge on the wicked and purges the lands of evil, all the while being guided by the strange force that gave her a second chance.
Miscellaneous: Patricia blocks out all memories of her past before her ressurection. The memory of her lover's death is heart shattering to her. She came back to get revenge on the demon who took her life away. The Gods gave her life to do so. She lives enternally until she gives up the will to live. Upon coming back, she wished for her memory of that night to be erased. Her biggest fear is that if she relives her past, that her heart will be filled with suffering and that she'll want to end her existance just to escape the pain. Though coming back wasn't without a price, as she is a slave to the Gods. In return for her life, she was asked to give up her own free will to serve them. Their price in return for her ressurection, was to eliminate the wicked who did not deserve the life they had. If that meant getting her dying wish, she'd give up anything.
The Gods who ressurected her also placed a seal of sorts on her memory. The length of her memory (with the exception of her past life) only goes back exactly 50 years. Every minute she lives, she forgets another minute of her past. This seal was put in place to prevent her from questioning her purpose to living. The Gods had assigned her to protect the land from festering evils. Fearing that she would remember the pain of her past and later give up and take her own life, they placed a magical seal on her to block out her memory after a set amount of time. However, all it would take to break the seal is a counter balance strong enough to push back.
There is one particular portion of Patricias' attire that she never removes. She wears a satin colar around her neck, an inch above her colar bone. The purpose of this colar is to cover up the scar of her fatal death wound. Simply looking at it fulls her heart with pain and suffering, not to mention hatred for the soul who stole her life and for herself for being too weak to prevent it. Though the wound is completely healed and is now just a small line of scar tissue on her throat, she does everything in her power to hide it from the world.
