So the new one is up now...and if anyone pays close attention they can see that it is directed by a very famillair person. However I couldn't hear any obvious code in it...was there an audio cue I missed? The vids are at http://www.lemonysnicket.com/vilevideos/

Well, no bell was rung. So I don't know. XD There is also that triangle code thing. I can't work it out. O_O Maybe after the 3rd video is out.

All right. I was trying to listen to the background music to see if I could hear a bell, but no luck. I don't know how the triangle thing works either. I got 'Walt' and 'Eat' out of it but that's it so far.

I didn't hear a bell, unless the gong type sound counts but it only happened once.

Fluue The third video will probably be released October 12.. just to mess with us. It's possible but I'm not really sure that the videos are relevant to the actual plots of the book.

The last of the Vile Videos is up. Mr. Snicket seems to be channeling Bob Dylan. XD This one amused me greatly.
Also, I think for one of the parts, I saw another of those triangle codes...

Yeah me too. Although the e-mail I got from AuthorTracker warned me that Mr. Snicket "can be seen frontally for 60 harrowing, uninterrupted seconds". I'm glad though that he's hiding behind the cards most of the time. ^_^ Lemme go look at that triangle code again. Interesting...I just noticed this in my email as well "Nor will they wish to complete the startling hidden message strewn across all three videos." Off to research be back later. Was there a triangle code in the first vid?

Ok! So there ARE three triangles! Let's see what I can make of this. All are accompanied by a right triangle.
1st triangle from vid 1 (when Mr. Curry is discussing the definiton of "physical eduction" the pencil erases it soon after we see it.):

3rd one from our latest vid:

RICE
My guess is that putting all the letters together for each line:
TWO
CALLED
BEATRICE
Well... sweatdrop Kinda all ready knew that at this point. Oh well, at least we have a new code to fool around with!
Anyone see any other possibilities?

I have read all the books over at least twice and I have no idea what any one is talking about a triangle code? Can someone refresh me?

Edit #2: Good work at finding it, by the way. I have to agree, a triangle code confused I think the triangle code is new. At least I don't recall it in any of the books off the top of my head. XD The reason I assume it's a code is cause of the messages from author tracker...which lead me to try and put them together. At least how I think the code works.
