Aurora was dirt smudged and his clothes were full of holes. Anyone looking athim would stare thinking...who is that boy? What happened to the neat and tidy Aurora? His golden hair was messy and unkept. He also looked a lot leaner than he had been. Was that....muscle on his arms?
The kid looked older for sure, but that didn't seem to register in his head. He was still him, just with more experience behindhis back. Stopping to stretch he placed his pack down and went to sit o the side of the road. Many small scratches marred his pale flesh as he had just gone through the brambles a while earlier to get back home. He hoped not too many people were worried about his dissapearance.

Flerida was still getting accustomed to the fact that her reach had grown, her talons were stronger, she had curves, and that she now had wings. It had been a few days since she grew older, an event her guardian had celebrated unnecessarily with cake and junk food.
With a sigh, she took to the skies, allowing the beating of her wings to calm her down. This felt better than dancing, so much better. The freedom, the weightlessness, the wind whipping against her face, Flerida felt home in the air. Unfortunately, she had yet to develop her stamina and soon she found herself tiring.
While she had no problem with flying, her landing was still a work in progress.
"LOOK OUT!!!"
As evidenced by her inability to avoid crashing into a young blonde man resting by the road.

Aurora looked up in time only to see a rush of a body coming hurtling towards him. Eyes wide he raised his arms to brace for impact but the body weight thrown at him cause himself to fall over as well.
The impact on the ground caused the wind to be knocked out of his lungs. He gasped for air, eeling his head spinning from being lightheaded.
A tangle of limbs, feathers and hair. Aurora opened his eyes to see a young woman now on top of him. "Eh...are you ok?" he asked hoping this whole thing wasn't too awkward and that she wasn't hurt.

Flerida swatted at the stars winking before her eyes before realizing just how compromising her position was. Cheeks beet red in a full blown blush, Flerida wasn't embarrassed she was downright mortified.
Quickly rolling off the young man, Flerida straightened herself and extended a hand to him in one smooth motion. "I-I'm really sorry about that. I'm still getting the hang of having wings." she explained, mumbling.

Aurora shook his head a couple of times, despite the grim he was fairly handsome...some would say drop dead gorgous even. If ...he was clean that is. He felt the weight move off of him and he looked to see a girl he had never seen before in front of him.
She was very pretty, wih large wings and a mulihued hair color. "Don't worry about it." he said after regaining his ability to breath and speak. He took her hand and shook it lightly. "Names Briar. You??" He asked being polite.

Flerida wasn't a very good judge of whether a person was attractive or not, or rather she didn't like to judge. But she was not squeamish when it came to dirt and grime, she did do most of the housework after all. She couldn't help but compare Briar to Ravji, and while the blonde is nice to look at, he didn't make Flerida's heart flutter the way the multi-limbed Fable did.
"I'm Flerida, but if you don't mind being my friend you can call me Riddy." Despite aging, Flerida was still clueless about making friends. "Are you going somewhere?" she asked, noticing his things on the road a few feet away.

Aurora smiled and nodded his head. "Sure I will be your friend." He replied moving to stand up and dust whatever dirt would come away on his pants. He then offered a hand to Riddy to help her up off the ground.
"Yah I have been away for some time..I am now on my way home." he stated feeling a bit more at home already. It was always nice to meet people, and this girl was awefully pretty.

Flerida accepted the proffered hand shyly as she got to her talons. She smiled that he didn't mind being her friend, and hoped that the incident with Ravji wouldn't repeat itself.
"Home? Maybe you live near where I live." Flerida stated, wondering if Briar was a Fable like her. "I come from Hameln, it's just over there." she pointed towards the village.

Aurora laughed and then rubbed teh back of his head. "No kidding? I live there too. Wonder why I havn't seen you around before." he asked his tone a bit questioning. He gave Riddy a sly look and then smiled again.
"You want to walk down together?" His bright blue eyes almost like a puppy dogs looked to Riddy "Its been so long since I have talked to anyone I would raelly appreciate your company."

"It's probably due to the fact I rarely go out of the house." Flerida stammered, her cheeks tinging pink. At his offer, Flerida nodded "Alright, Briar."
As they began to head down the road, Flerida couldn't help but wonder how he came to end up looking the way he did. "Did you go somewhere? I mean, you look like you sound like you've been away for a while."

Auro laughed and nodded his head. "Yah I have been away from some time. I just hope that my friends won't be too upset with me." His reply was truthful and he looked down at himself and couldn't believe jsut how filty he looked.
"My gosh I must look like I have been living on the streets." he commented his voice amused.
"but where were you headed before you crash landed into me?" he asked, shouldering his pack and lute once again.

"Does your guardian know where you've been? I'm sure he or she must have been worried if you didn't tell them." Flerida frowned. As much as she found Huni to be an irresponsible guardian, she didn't like the idea of making anyone worried.
"I wasn't headed anywhere, just flying around and getting used to having wings." she smiled sheepishly as she extended one to gently brush against his lute. "I didn't have any when I was younger." she explained.

Aurora looked to Ridd's beautiful wings. "Well.." he started focusing his eyes back to the road they were traveling on. "I did tell my gaurdian I was going away. htough i said a cuple days..not a couple weeks." he trailed off bringing up his thumb and chewing on the tip of it worriedly.
"I hope she hasn't been too worried...but I just had to go." he tried to explain though even himself wasn't positive what drove him to leave for so long.

"I've never been out of the village, well, I have. But I've never really ventured too far away. What's it like out there? My guardian's not from Hameln, she came from some place called Gaia?" the unfamiliar word didn't seem to roll off her tongue very well.

Aurora thought on the question. "well...it has a lot more action.." he started thinking back to the gang he had joined while he was away. "I would say it is pretty dangerous if you are not careful, and there are some strange folks too." he concluded thinking he had adiquatly summed it up.
"I prefer Hamlen," he included after a couple of seconds of silence.
