Well I ought to say I'm not too big of a contributor to the jazz guild, and I'm sorry I'm not. Hope to be posting more in the future. Near future. But the link to my band myspace is www.myspace.com/anightonthetown42 ... and I'd like you all to check it out, simply because it's a rather diverse genre.... you know, latin jazz, smooth jazz, big band jazz... dance music. But I write, arrange, and play everything myself. Well.... digitize to sound like real people. ish. check it out. Cool you could have also posted this in the "Post Audio Clips of Yourself" thread but i dont mind we need more activity like this ^_^
Pretty good stuff now get some band members! After you found a rythm section go seek out horn players. Why dont you write stuff for a school band to play? The music is just like the stuff Sammy Nestico writes for school bands.
Keep up the good work you have quite the potential to be a very good muisc composer.
