The pride was bustling with talk of the festival, and even down to earth Tamariku had been infested with the excitement. He was currently searching the lands for his uncle, Matifu, a lion he hadn't seen in so very long, though he had heard a lot of him. Riku had been trying to catch up with everyones names and backstories, but it was so much information! The adolescant wondered if he would ever know every one of them personally. He hoped so.

As he padded through the lands, the bright sun warming the morning, Riku thought of his past and of when he first met the large lion. Sense told him that Matifu wouldn't be as large now, since Riku was nearing adulthood himself, but he couldn't shake the thought of his uncle being a large, strong lion.

Riku began to ask around the pride, though most of them couldn't be bothered with the earth-toned adolescant, each having their own things to do in preparation for the festuival.
